Delta Faucet RP2391 Single Clear Knob Handle Kit with Button and Set Screw

I wasn't sure if this would work since I couldn't see it in person before purchasing and it's such a unique need, but it was perfect and fit and looks fantastic. We have a 100+ year old house and finding fixtures that fit AND look great isn't always easy. This was perfect and would highly recommend!

I recently updated the old crystal knob in my bathroom with the DELTA FAUCET RP48717, and it was a fantastic decision. Pros: Quick Installation: Updating from the old crystal knob to this sleek chrome faucet handle took just a matter of minutes. The installation process was straightforward. Easy and Simple: This replacement was a breeze for someone with minimal DIY skills. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary parts were included. Perfect for Rental Properties: This update is particularly significant for rental properties. It instantly modernizes the bathroom without requiring major renovations. Tenants appreciate the fresh look and improved functionality. High-Quality Finish: The chrome finish looks elegant and matches well with other bathroom fixtures. This product exceeded all my expectations. Decent replacement for the Delta Monitor 1400 series thats often installed by most builders. This handle fits the Delta RP19804 Cartridge Assembly. I included photos of both the old handle, and the new replacement. It's not really a kit. It's just the handle and a set screw, but very easy to install. You do have to slide the existing sleeve forward a little bit to close the gap that's left after installing this new handle. There's still a very small Gap left even after sliding the sleeve forward, hence the reason I'm only giving this four stars. Just a small cosmetic issue as you can see in the photo, but probably wouldn't bother most people. They do sell a spacer to get rid of this slight Gap. It's just a little plastic piece that goes on the inside of the Chrome sleeve before putting the sleeve back on. It's "Delta Faucet RP29569 Spacer". This entire project is a very simple upgrade. Literally takes about 5 minutes total. The set screw takes a 3/32 allen wrench. They don't list the size on the instructions, so I figured I could save you from fumbling around trying the different sized Allen wrenches. Another tip would be to add some "anti-seize lubricant" on the thread of the set screw. Set screws on shower handles are notorious for corroding and getting stuck years later if you need to remove the handle.

Buying this replacement knob brought our shower faucet back to working condition - and looking good - for a fair price. The old knob had worn out to the point that there was play in the rotation, resulting in difficulties in setting water temperature. The new knob installed in minutes and returned accurate valve control to our shower. Perfect fit, and looks great.

This faucet has been a disaster - and it seems due to an engineering flaw from Delta. Let me explain: multiple, multiple phone calls to Delta Commercial Technical Support have finally resulted in some new knowledge: this device does not play well with the new basin/drain that sits beneath it. After countless hours spent with a paid plumber, innumerable calls to Delta and the purchase of a $200 remote control (did you know that this device requires an expensive Delta-only remote control if you want to change it settings? It does!) We now have a unit that cycles on and off at all hours, whether there is someone in the room or not, whether the overhead lights are on or not. The only way I can get this faucet to not cycle on/off and work exactly the way it should is by placing a paper towel in the basin underneath the sensor. No amount of adjusting with my expensive Delta remote control would change this. The issue, apparently, is that the sensor sees the bottom of our basin and thinks it is a set of hands waiting to be washed. It then turns on and runs for 90 seconds (93 seconds to be exact) before the anti-vandalism default shuts it off. Here is one of the worst parts: our new quartz bathroom counter was designed with a hole in the backsplash to accommodate this faucet - so it is not like we can just swap it out with another faucet by another company...we are kinda stuck, unless we want to replace a brand new quartz counter top. This product is shamefully bad. Shame on you, Delta! You got my money and way too much of my time, but you don't have a repeat customer. Why was this rushed to market? It needs a re-design.

Metal handle, set screw, and allen key included. Product came in original blister package. Installed in one minute. Tools needed were a small pick and a phillips screwdriver to remove old faucet handle. Handle lines up with the hot/cold sweep indicators on the wall plate perfectly. Note: no spacer is included for the faucet cover. However, i simply pulled the cover a bit further out to sit flush with the handle. There is an o ring under the cover that secures it. A good retrofit piece to remove the old plastic ball and at half the price that home depot sells their replacement handles.

You have to look closely at the fit of the knob. Some fit a perfect cylinder shape, others are more tear dropped shaped. This fit mine perfectly and took 2 minutes to change and it looks brand new.
