Extra Bright Clip-On Book Light With Dimmer, Reading Light, Kindle Book Light

I have had this light for about two weeks and I really love it. I replaced a clip on light with a single bulb that started having problems maintaining brightness and the flex arm was starting to droop.This light has a much sturdier flex arm and being able to vary the light intensity is a very welcome addition. The old single bulb light worked pretty well with my Kindle but with print books I was constantly repositioning the head to get light where I needed it. This new light has multiple bulbs controlled through a dimmer and provides a good lateral spread of light. That means that once I clip the light into position I don't have to move it again. Even though there is a good spread on the light pattern it does not intrude into my bedmates area and distrub or keep her awake.In addition to the clip the lamp has a sturdy and flat enough base that it may easily be used as a "table" lamp. I have taken it into the bathroom in the middle of the night and it provides sufficient light that there is no need to blind myself by turning on the overhead lights.It is a simple but extremely well designed multi-purpose light that will easily fit many functions.

I use this light at my DJ shows to help put a spotlight on one thing but not draw attention away from the show. The light brightness is variable which made it a perfect fit for me. After doing alot of research to keep from buying a light that would just break after the first use, I feel I bought the perfect one and I've yet to have any issues.

I recently purchased this clip-on light on Amazon and have been using it ever since; I am VERY happy with it. I use it for reading in bed at night because with it clipped on to a book, I can be in any position and not have shadows on the page. The clip is strong and opens an inch, so it works on thick books, too. It has little rubber parts at the edges which prevent it from slipping; I keep it clipped to the book as a bookmark.The light from the six white LED's can be adjusted with a little wheel, it is very bright on the highest setting, which I really like because it keeps my eyes from getting tired. The goose-neck is metal, so it will last. I tried it as a stand-up light, which also works very well because the base is comparatively heavy (it also has the three AAA batteries in it) and the head can be used to balance the lamp if it is on a not entirely level surface.All in all a very well thought-out product, well made and well worth the price. This light folds up into a small box and will be traveling with me wherever I go!

After trying several other lights (those single LED clip-ons are a complete joke) this is the light to have. Don't bother with the other Kindle lights if you have a Kindle DX. I did have a problem getting it sent out. It took 1 week for them to send it out, but they did respond quickly when called and offered a small discount for the inconvenience. The light is BRIGHT. It has 6 LED's instead of 1`or 2! It is like reading the Kindle DX in the sun. You can read your DX in absolute complete darkness with this unit. Luckily it does have an adjusting dimmer feature. It works PERFECTLY with the DX. Trust me....this is the one to get for your DX. It does sell for about $7 less on Amazon elsewhere, but you really have to research the pages to get the other company that retails the same device for $9.95 instead of the $15 - $17 dollars from this company. That $9.95 also includes the shipping. This light is great because you can use it for other things not just the Kindle. Buy it!!!

This clip on light uses 3 AAA batteries, and cost under $10.00. One deciding factor for me was the adjustable brightness on this. One thing I like about this light is that the adjustable brightness it not a "1-2-3" step brightness, but an actual dial so you can better control the light output. This is perfect not only for my aftermarket kindle, but for reading regular books. The adjustable brightness, wow! Reading the Kindle, I would have it on the lower end of the brightness level, while reading a book, it would be towards the brighter setting.I thought the battery base (with the 3AAA battery) would be a big heavy but in fact, it's not. Excellent choice.

I like this clip-on light; is long enough so that I can turn the pages easily, but the best part is being able to adjust the brightness as I need. It uses 3 AAA batteries and I would recommend you check on this, since when I first got it, I placed USED and cheap batteries and almost return it thinking that the light wasn't bright enough. Afterwards I placed new ones and the brightness is perfect!! Highly recommend this!! Took a pic on the brightest setting.

I purchased this book light for my Mom who has low vision and needs very bright light to use with her Kindle. Other lights she tried were either too dim or had a narrow spot-light beam that required the light to be moved across the page while reading. This light provides a good bright floodlight effect and is just the right size for use with a Kindle.

Great dimmable light. Strong clip and very flexible neck. The light itself is only 3/4" x 3.5" but it does light both pages depending on size of book of course. Easy to maneuver if need light on other spot! Great light! Able to read cozy under the covers now without having to get up to shut the light. My husband loved mine so much that he got one also!
