Level 6: Les Miserables (Pearson English Graded Readers)

My students absolutely loved reading this simplified version of Les Miserables. It includes all the main plot points of the musical and has great themes and issues for class discussions.

i love this fiction!! its easy for our student to read, the word is easy and the plot is very very good!!!!

Clean book

Having seen the Musical at least 4 times, I saw this book advertised and was tempted by its low price. In reality it is a Schools' Publication, (and advertised as Level 6 in fairness) suitable for 12-15 year-olds. An easy read then, but very much a starter and not a main course for the reasonably literate reader.

Great book, perfect for my lowest ability Y10 english class. Just enough detail that doesn't take too long to read.

I purchased this book eager to read Victor Hugo's masterpiece and was terribly disappointed to discover it was an abridged version. For those wanting the entire story in an easy to read and quick to read format, this is for you. However, for those genuinely desiring to read the complete and unabridged version this will be a complete and utter disappointment. Read the fine print carefully folks! I wish I had.
