i'd say no. never has been for me

Would this work for a pura uvbb series?

If you want to filter water to 5 micron,however your filter housing should be capable of using a size u have.check your sizes first.

Can this cartridge be used in a 20-inch by 4.5 inch canister?

I just measured my cannister and yes, it is 41/2 x 20 inches!
