Studio Ghibli Music Box (My Neighbor Totoro)

The media could not be loaded. This is so adorable and whimsical! I first saw it at a convention for $100 and thought that was too expensive. I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I went back a other day, but couldn't find it anymore. Thankfully Amazon had it for $70! Mine shipped in a box and arrived in perfect condition. Now that I have this Totoro music box, I feel like I have to get all the other Studio Ghibli ones!

We ordered two of these they are so cute. My daughter age 11 and her friend we gave the second one to treasure them. They are fragile (i would not give this to a 5-7 year old and expect it to survive) but the moving parts are interesting to look at. They make for a unique gift.

Like all items from Ghibli, it is in high quality, wonderful design, and the music is beautiful like the story. Kawaii.

I bought this and another Totoro item as a birthday gift for my sister. She loved both items. The music box plays music from the film and there is movement in the music box. It is adorable, but you would hope that the construction would be better for what it costs.

The media could not be loaded. The first time I ordered, it came broken (might have been someone’s return) but my replacement was perfect. Be careful as it’s not packed super well, it is shipped in a bag and not a box.I love the way the little characters move, it’s so cute it made me want to cry. It looks so pretty with my plants.

I bought this for my granddaughter. She has several music boxes I have given her but this one will stay with me..at least for the time being. I love it!

Seems very cheeply made. I would recommend not spending more than $10-$15 to buy this item. The music is good but the rest is plastic and the animation is done with fishing line that is cut wrong so some of it don't move.
