Skar Audio SDR-3X8D2 2,100 Watt Loaded SDR Series Vented Subwoofer Enclosure, Triple 8" D2 Loaded Enclosure

I see quite a few ppl saying these don't handle what they are rated for, these ppl don't know much about car audio it seems. These are rated for 2100 watts MAX/Peak power, they are 1050w RMS. And they handle that just fine. My 900w Kenwood amp powers them easily. They have great sound, and a beautiful look. The bass does drop off a bit after 30hz or so. So anyone looking for serious deep digital/electronic bass will want something else. Also, they claim to be rated at 1.33ohm, but when I checked them right out of the box, they were at 1.6ohm. This matters if your amp is dynamic based on the ohm received. Lower means more power from your amp. But now that they've had their break in period, they might be lower.Last thing. I expected the logo to be cheap paint or a sticker. Nope. It's embroidered on! It's not coming off for anything. Really does look nice..All-in-all, I recommend these to anyone who listens to Rock, Metal, or Country music. These excel at this.Edit: Replaced my 900w Kenwood as I had to crank the gain all the way up to move these. Replaced it with the Skar SKv2-1500.1D. Gave it a week to settle and break in. The 2 were made for each other. Subs never sounded so good! Keep in mind, these aren't a 1ohm load. So any watts rated for 1ohm on your amp will be less. But still more than a 2ohm load.

I’ve only had one other set of subs when I was 16 they sounded great but I got a truck and well you can’t fit two 15s in a crew cab truck so they were sold I have a small fiesta st now with about the size of a glove box for a trunk and these subs fit so perfectly out the box it’s insane they hit harder than my old setup and if you pair them with a 1000 watt amp it’s too much bass like sound quality is insane I can’t be any happier with this product and I’ll also say the box is all of 100 pounds or that’s what it feels like very heavy,strong product

This thing actually improves over time. It is not 15s, but this box hits really good for 3 8s. I am driving it with a lanzaar 1000 watt mono lock and I believe they were made for each other. Some rap and hip hop stuff causes it to drop out at really high volume but can be adjusted with a pre amp. Highly recomnend. Kick with classic rock/metal. You can really feel this box. Excellent!!!UPDATE - This box is now hooked to a five channel soundstream with jvc head unit. Preamp no longer needed. Box still sounds awesome and turns heads. Sound quality is just amazing.

These subs are anazing subs for the money! They shoot out nice clear bass that also punches hard and vibrates the air around you lol. much better than the two 10’s i had in my single cab 2010 f150. Highly recommend if you want good subs that don’t break the bank

Bought these for my '69 Ford Galaxie 500. Sounds nice with all the trunk room in the car. Good bass if your set up is correct. These speakers are 1050 RMS and I purchased Skar amp with 1200 RMS. Perfect combo.

These speakers are for someone who is looking for lots of bass and amazing sound. Note that subs there self are not responsible for sound. You cannot expect for subs to sound good without knowing how to tune your amp. These Triple 8’s are quick to install. And preform good a high power. I personally have had know issues with these around a year of ownership.

I opened them as soon as I got em I was curious great quality build everything us on point from them being bridged insulated and all they stand out and sound amazing great clean bass not shaking bass like these competition subs out.there but for sum1 that wants to feel.bass on.there seats these are it i give them a good 8 outta 10

Was not packaged the best. This setup was placed right into a cardboard box with not a single packing peanut or plastic wrap. The speaker surround foam was rubbing the cardboard box all the way from Texas to Maine. The carpet isn't seamless and shows spots of wood (seen in picture @ center bottom). Box lips have minor dents in various places (also seen in picture in various spots). Box came with cardboard fragments stuck to the carpet, not sure from where. The subwoofer cones have an excess of dust on them, not sure from where or how. These subs were gently unpackaged by myself and set directly into the hatch of my subaru, yet they look like they are months old already! And to top it all off, it didn't even come with a Skar audio sticker. I like stickers and am a little sad.Using +6db on the Skar 1200.1D to get some good bass out of it, sound quality is pretty decent and would probably recommend this setup for its sound:price ratio.

I've bought many different brands of subwoofers,different sizes,now that I set this inclosure in my SUV I will never buy any other this is by far the best sub box I have ever owned Skar makes such an amazing quality product,the Bass is unbelievable and the price is totally reasonable,,for what you get I think the price is super cheap,I will never buy anything but Skar I only wish I would have bought this inclosure so long ago and not have wasted my time on other brands and inclosures..
