Improbable Planet
No only a fascinating set of observations, but also clearly and (fairly) concisely set out. I have no doubt that Hugh Ross is a proper scientist, but he is also able to communicate his ideas in language which most people will understand. The book covers topics ranging from the apparent uniqueness of Earth's position in space and time; through the history of the planet and the crucial timing of major events; to the characteristics of key flora and fauna. The reader needs to keep their brain engaged, but the concentration is well worth it as a step towards fuller understanding of why we are here now.

Enlightening!
Very very good, but more useful for those of a scientific mind-set!

Hugh Ross accepts the theory of evolution on the cosmological scale
Hugh Ross attaches his narrative to the history of the planet and universe. However he accepts all the evolutionary stories the atheists have fabricated to explain away the universe and it’s structures. In Hugh Ross’ universe there is no place for God to actually do anything. Ross is at best a theistic evolutionist, and that is a position with no evidence, merely emotional assertions.I laughed when he references the important value of ‘dark energy’ in the balance of the universe. Dark energy, like dark mass is a fudge factor of ignorance made by atheists to shore up their atheistic model of how the universe, galaxies and planets came to exist.Hugh Ross adds nothing to the table other than the hopeful speculation of a theist on atheistic theories.

Super interessante e scientificamente rigoroso.
Impegnativo come Lettura ma vale la pena per tutti coloro che pensano il mondo e la vita siano prodotti casuali.

Dr Hugh Ross, astrophysician on Old Earth Creationnism (with latest scientific evidences)
Great book, I've watched Dr Hugh Ross videos on YouTube and I have decided to bought his book. He is an astrophysician that believes that the Bible and especially Genesis with the Book of Job, contain scientific knowledge about the Universe, that only science can discover nowaday... As an agnostic person with Deist views (believe in a Creator, but not in the God of religion), it was great to listent and to read from a person pro-believer that stand with the latest science discoveries about our Universe, being created during the Big Bang 13.8 Billions of years ago.
