24" Backpacker .40 Caliber Blowgun - Black

I use the blow gun in a dart league using soft tipped darts. I use a blow gun because of some health issues preventing me from being able to throw darts with any accuracy. The soft tipped darts are a little larger than the normal pointed steel darts that can be used with this gun. I think the break down of the gun is great. There are times in which I wish I could break my normal gun down for space and transport. The soft tipped darts have a tendency to hit at the intersection areas of the tube (the actual break down location), which causes the dart to be erratic when it exits the tube. This causes the dart to be off of the mark just about every time the gun is used. You would think this should not be a problem as long as the connecting tubes are straight, true and formed correctly, but I have yet to be able to use this gun in this application. The soft tipped darts are extremely light weight, and it does not take much to distract the line. It is a good idea, it just doesn't work too well my darts.

Great blowgun, really. It shoots like a regular (not able to take apart) blowgun. My problems though was the fact that the dart kept getting stuck at the areas where the blowgun is connected. Another problem was that one of the tubes were loose, because it wasn't a correct size. Two out of three of the sticks were fine, and fit nicely into the connector parts, but that last piece kept slipping off. The only way to correct it was to use tape, or fill it in somehow, which I'll think of doing. Came on time, great carrying case and stuff. It's just that one tube that really bothers me, but I can't trouble myself to return it... Lol!

Works fine, pretty durable and solid construction. The first part of the three pieces the aluminum tube has a very loose fit with both mouthpiece and plastic connector, easy to fix with a little bit of plumbers tape for a tighter fit.

This is a fun item for target practice. It might be possible to harvest small game with it, but due to it's short length and light weight darts you are more likely to miss, or worse, injury an animal leaving it to suffer. If you are interested in hunting, buy a large bore 4 or 5 foot blowgun Cold Steel 4 Foot .625 Blowgun Big Bore Hunting Weapon . If you want to have some fun on a camping trip, or wind down after a day at the office, this is a great item.One thing to note is the importance of firmly seating the sections together. If there is a little space left in the joint, the darts will get hung up or stuck completely.

great little thing to play around.the darts are very sharp and pointy.my only issue was that i couldnt find a way to fit this in the 3 pieces as displayed in the picture, into the carrying case.but all and all this is pretty fun.

only works well with the neddle darts...all other stuff sucks at flying straight im guessing because the line where the dart gun seperates messes with how straight the dart flies.

fun little toy for shooting at a dart board 10 feet away. By the way, the pieces do not fit in the bag.

I love this blowgun. It arrived quick. The darts are surprisingly sharp and the blowgun itself is pretty accurate. Doesn't touch much power at all but power is necessary for distance and force.
