JetSurc .223/.308 Break/Brake

First off this is a dirt cheap muzzle break. It has many flaws cosmetically. All the flaws are to the degree that if the break is more a couple feet from your face you can’t see them. When I got it I couldn’t see it in the bag because the inside of the bag was coated in rust residue. The break was rusty with a few burs here and there. Removed the burs with a tiny file and insured nothing would be blocking the path of the bullet. Dipped it in some oil and the light rusty appearance turn dark black. No pitting or anything like that. NOW, most important! It works perfectly! Period! Tried it against a buddies 149.00+ dollar break of similar style and both worked equally well. Big differences. His looks better when you bend over and stare at it. But I can buy 7 of these for the price he paid for one. Just make sure you check it out carefully for defect and such before you use it. I’m going to get a couple and have someone who knows what their doing check the metal they’re made of. If that check out I’ll be buying a bunch more.When you take the princess (high end rifle) out for a date once a month you buy her a diamond (nice muzzle break) to wear. But for the rest of the days in the month when your taking her chubby sister (low end rifle) out honky tonkin (cause she’s more fun) you buy her some decent cowboy boots and tight cheap jeans (this muzzle break).

Appears to fit a 5.56 however it's not black. Very cheap coating that shows light yellow/rust colored metal under the black coating. Sort of a marbled look. If they don't take care with the finish I have to wonder about the metal quality and the machine work done cutting the holes in this. Won't be installing.

The finish is poorly done. It's a blotchy green yellow color like it was dipped in a cold blue and removed too quickly. Also there are dings on the front edge like it was dropped on a concrete floor. Otherwise the machining looks good.

Works as advertised but arrived rusted. Seller made good though and sent another one.

When you torque down the crush washer be ready to put a lot of preesure on it

Fit was perfect. Finish was blotchy and inconsistent
