Question 1

Are the ingredients organic?

Accepted Answer

It says that it is vegetarian, but I didn't see anywhere on the bottle that it was organic.

Question 2

what purpose is this supplement serving if my blood sugar levels are already within normal range

Accepted Answer

Thank you for a great question. The answer is one of legal compliance. While allowable claims language for supplement companies varies from country to country, in the United States, supplement manufacturers are bound by the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act (DSHEA) of 1994. According to FDA regulations, supplements are “… not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease”. In fact, this disclaimer is required to be printed on all dietary supplements. As blood sugar levels are associated with the diagnosis of a disease we cannot make any claims that relate to changes outside of normal levels.

Question 3

Is this product 3rd party tested?

Accepted Answer

All Himalaya products are tested for quality and safety by our in-house Quality Assurance Department. In addition, our labs and procedures undergo annual third-party audits for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance by the USA-based UL Registrar LLC.

We also undergo third-party audits for compliance through ISO-9001 Certification (International Organization for Standardization) via National Quality Assurance, UK, and Food Safety System Certification through SSG UK, one of the world's leading third-party inspection, verification, testing and certification companies.
