Di Morrissey just can't put a foot wrong with characters, story lines and real situations. Loved it.

I thought the story took a while to get going but once it did I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I was sorry it didn't tell you what happened to Andrew, Holly's wayward husband.

A fabulous book. Di Morrissey is a great writer and I find myself there in the story with characters. I love the fact that they are all set in Australia too.

The story was good. I just felt there were too many Characters. I had a bit of a problem remembering who they all were

Over the years I have loved to read Di Morrissey's tales after first seeing her interviewed on Australia TV while in country. This book was not a disappointment it took place north of Sydney on the Gold coast with a wonderful plot! She developes her characters well and sets the tone for wonderful tales. Being a lover of Australian novels along with the country itself I always look for her work whenever I am in the mood for a great tale. This book I received was actually autographed by Di on the inside page - I shall treasure it!

You can always rely on a good read from Di Morrissey. I always feel like I am living in the story and this one was like that.. She paints a very realistic backdrop that makes me want to travel to her part of the world.

The Bay… I want to move there now. Loved sharing the tears, triumphs, worries and woes of al these characters. Especially loved 'Mac' I see so much of the person I would really like to be in her shoes.

Di Morrissey always has the writing ability to take you in at the beginning and hold you entranced until the last page.I love her writing style and her truly Australian storylines.

The Bay is another good read by this Australian author. I particularly like her books because I have been to Australia many times and I love the country.

Excellent read

Es lo primero que leo de Di Morrisey, pero la verdad es que no puedo darle buena nota. La narración es buena, aunque quizá si estáis empezando mejor elegir otro por el acento. De todos modos, como novela no me ha gustado nada. Me parece aburrido, lento, carente de contenido. La trama brilla por su ausencia, y es que es totalmente simple. Y para más inri, podemos ir adivinando lo que va a ir pasando. Una pena, porque me parecía más interesante de lo que finalmente fue.

As usual Di Morrisey is of a very high standard. Am unable to put her books down
