Good stuff!
I used this on an old boat trailer I was refurbishing a couple years ago. Much of the zinc plating was gone so I wire brushed the whole thing, cleaned it, and painted on the CRC. Two years later and two seasons of launches in salt water and I’m going to touch up a few spots that I missed before. I can tell this stuff works really well by the areas that I missed. It really does seem to be as good as the zinc plating. Not cheap but worth every penny. Just make sure you mix it robustly and keep stirring as you use it.

Extend trailer life
My five year old aluminum boat trailer has galvanixed steel axles, and they were getting rusty. Salt water is eventually going to corrode steel, no matter how much you rinse it. I found this product and decided to try it. I used a grinder to get rid of all the flaky rust. Then used a spray degreaser for cleanup, followed by four coats of ZRC brushed on 24 hours apart. To stir up the ZRC I poured it into a large plastic pitcher from the dollar store, and shook it up like making a martini. Shaken, not stirred. It goes on fairly thick and dries in about 20 minutes. I spoke with John from ZRC and he answered all my questions and was a great help. I just put my boat in the water (Gulf of Mexico) yesterday for the first time since applying the ZRC and everytning went well. I think and hope this product is going to work well. New torsion axles are about $600 each and my trailer guy says they last about 3-5 years. Between using this product and always rinsing after dunking perhaps I can extend the life of the axles. I'll follow up with a review in six months. BTW, I have no connection or relationship with ZRC other than buying this product.

Tough stuff
This stuff is awesome! I used a roller, a paint brush and also a hvlp spray gun to Paint my galvanized boat trailer. It went on thick when I applied it with a paintbrush on the bare metal Parts or spots. Then I used the hvlp gun to spray the rest of the trailer to blend it all in. The end results was impressive. Didn’t flake off in any spots and looked professionally done. When I was putting the trailer back together I wasn’t Being delicate One bit like I would be with any other project with freshly painted surfaces . I was scrapping the metal parts together and it didn’t rub off or scratch easily at all. It was well worth the extra money... glad I got this instead of the rust-oleum spray cans at Home Depot or Lowe’s. I give it two thumbs up

This stuff works great!
When used as directed this stuff works great. Be sure to stir often to keep the zinc suspended while using. I use it primarily to coat the welds I make on galvanized steel parts. Applied properly it seems to hold up as well as the factory galvanizing.

It does the job compare with the ones of $200
The light color it supposed to match the Galvanized pipe but it didn’t but it does do the job and stop rust from the welding parts

Good home galvavizing repair.
The product was exactly as advertised which is good. You must use a paint stick to stir prior to application. Time will tell me if it protects similar to hot dip galvanizing.
