The media could not be loaded. It is hefty, it is shiny, and it is fantastic. The finish is smooth but not featureless. One can spend hours exploring its intricate surface. I've found the sphere is great for learning photography. Unlike other subjects, it is stationary and patient enough to sit still for prolonged periods of time without complaining! It accepts polishing pretty well. On the other hand, you also can skip that and let it develop a patina to show some character. I never was a big believer in grounding, but whenever I interact with the sphere, I am left feeling calmer and more balanced.While still exploring the applications for my pure copper sphere, it appears the possibilities are truly endless!

Pleasantly heavy and just shiny enough to stand out in any room that requires a little extra copper highlight. It does not come with a display pedestal but that allows you to have fun creating your own.Have not experienced any of the ethereal copper properties, but that wasn’t the point of my purchase.It was, as probably for most of you looking through the comments here, a quirky purchase for me. Yet I do not regret it as I believe that it is just cool.Maybe a vanadium ball ($$$!) is in my future.
