I'M SURPRISED --- IT REALLY HELPS ME !
I'm a retired physician with back pain. I am treated by a PM &R specialist - board certified. I have no major defect on MRI or CT SCAN, and no neurological deficit. Back pain limits my activity to 30 minutes - at which time I need rest and heating pad. Pain becomes progressive if I don't stop. SO,, Even with medication and specialty medical care, I was just "grasping" for something that would let me work longer -- yard & house stuff. SO, I tried this back brace-belt. My doctor didn't suggest it. THERE IS NO LOGICAL MEDICAL REASON WHY THIS BELT SHOULD WORK, but, (on my own), I decided to give it a try. I am not obese -- I wouldn't expect any help if I had huge abdominal fat.I was shocked that it helped ! I could work much longer with it on, and felt better. I had some pain at the usual time, but I could continue comfortably. The VELCRO area IS rather small when the belt is tightened --- so I bought a "weight lifting belt" that has 18" of VELCRO contact -(Fire Team). It really tightens up the support belt, and would solve the problem for those not happy with the velcro on the support belt. The weight belt was $30, but it will extend the life and tightness of the support belt indefinitely. I'm glad I "gave it a shot". For me, it has helped extend my activity with minimal discomfort. This was OBVIOUSLY not a freebie to give a good review. The reason for the review is I have worked almost 3 hours today, and still feel like more. I am still shocked that it helps. I would recommend the extra weight lift belt for a really tight fit. That made a big difference.AY

so far, so good. I need more time to be absolute.
I have only worn this brace for a few days. However, prior to the arrival, for several weeks I was suffering from constant back pain. My doctor wanted to prescribe a medication but I did not want to add another med to my current collection. It seemed that a possible solution would be a back brace. So....I jumped onto Amazon, my favorite shopping site, and began the arduous process of looking through the wide variety of products and reading an endless cadre of reviews. There certainly were many choices. I placed several into my cart so it would be easy to more thoroughly explore their qualities. After a few days and continuing back pain, I decided to try the FitGame Brace. It arrived via Prime in the typical 2 days. The brace was immediately put on and it felt comfortable. The band adjustments allowed me to tighten the brace to my comfort level. I wore it all day and it seemed to offer relief. It was on the outside of mt clothing so there was no issues with skin contact. The next day I wrapped it under my shirt, wearing a t shirt and, again, it was comfortable and it did ease the pain. As the day wore on, the discomfort continued to diminish. So far, I am pleased with the results. There is a rubber odor but that dissipates within a few days. The brace seems well made and I expect a decent durability. It is moderately priced so replacing it when needed certainly will not break the bank. In my humble opinion, it is a good product that has provided relief.

Designed more for men than women
I really don't like support belts because they just aren't comfortable. As a woman with larger breasts and bigger hips, they always seem like the supports in the belts just poke me in the wrong places; however, after 3 back surgeries, I tend to need a support belt to strengthen my back when it feels weak or I'm having spasms. This one doesn't seem to poke me. I wish I could find a strong, comfortable belt designed for size 20 women that supported the lower back. I haven't found one yet. It seems like most strong support belts are designed for men with no curves and the ones made for women look like they don't support very well. While I've never encountered a comfortable belt, this one does do a good job of supporting my back and I do feel relatively comfortable in it.

Great Support and Comfort!
I ordered the XL FITGAME Back Brace - Lower Back Support Belt on Amazon. It arrived on time...I immediately put it on upon arrival...Instantly made me feel better. Support and comfort seem top notch, along with quality of manufacturing. Seems to be very well put together and the velcro may have been developed by NASA! Very strong bond! I've worn it for full days and the velcro does not budge! After wearing for a few days initially, I was starting to feel like maybe the Large would be a better fit for me as opposed to the XL that I had purchased. I really just wanted it to snug up a little bit more.I contacted the seller (FITGAME) to explain my issue...and within a few minutes heard back and without hesitation or further questions (David, the guy I was dealing with) offered to send me out the next size down (Large) belt right away...Fast forward 2 days later...I'm all snugged up with my new size Large belt and it fits to a T!I can't say enough about FITGAMES customer service...specifically David. Quite simply, he was awesome! Maybe the best customer service I've ever experienced!Overall everything 5 stars! The one thing I can not vouch for quite yet since I've only had the belt for less than a week is longevity over time and use...I have to say again though...Quality seems top notch so far!

Size fit is not as presented
The product itself is well made. I bought the size recommended by their site. I was at the upper end of the recommended waist measurement but nowhere close to what they said was the max waist size for that category of brace. It barely fits me and doesn't allow for a comfortable support . If you buy this consider going up one size if your waist measurement is above the halfway point in the size recommendations.
