Keyboard Cover Design for 2020 Surface Book 3 13.5" 15" |2019 2018 Surface Book 2 1 13.5" 15" and 2018 Surface Laptop (NOT Fit for Surface Pro Model) -CandyBlack

Overall, I'm very happy with this product. It fits my Microsoft Surface laptop very well, stays on the keyboard, and I like the feel of it. However, about six of the spaces on the cover do not match up with keys on the top of the laptop keyboard. For example, the Home marker on the cover is actually over the PrtScn key on the keyboard and the End marker on the cover is over the Home key on the keyboard. While this is a slight nuisance, it doesn't impact my everyday use of my laptop as I hardly use the keys that aren't correctly aligned.

This isn't terrible but its very "meh" for me. The cover doesn't fit properly on the Surface Book layout (too big/too much overhang at the top) so I had to cut it. The letters are off center and it's dark enough paint/print that it dulls the keyboard lighting quite a bit.That being said, it does seem as though it will be sturdy and keep dust/crumbs out of the keyboard, and the color is pretty so those are plusses. It does what its supposed to do, at the cost of the light from the keyboard.It may fit better on a different Surface product, but it was advertised as fitting this one, so I think it should fit properly, not *almost*.Note too, that this isn't one of the ones that sticks on its own. It will fall off If you have the laptop open and turn it sideways or anything.

Edit: The paint began to fade after a few months of use, I primarily use this laptop for typing-related work, and the final photo I included shows the result of under 7 months of use.This is a wonderful keyboard cover that can be trusted to give your keyboard some protection, as well as an extra splash of colour. I washed this right after unboxing, it is indeed washable. It also seems quite durable and doesn't impede on my ability to type.However, if you're buying this for the Microsoft Surface Book 3 (as I did), you'll find that the button labels for the top F keys don't line up. To clarify, the cover physically fits the keyboard perfectly, but buttons like F12, which is labeled as Ins, is actually PgDn. This is the only issue I came across.Also note that this product only covers the keyboard. In the thumbnail picture, a skin is shown covering the rest of the bottom surface, this isn't the case.Lastly, it's worth noting that the colour came faded around the grooves on the F and J keys.That is all. Enjoy.

I wish I read more of the reviews before buying this. Overall, the fit is great and I love typing on it but the top row buttons, unfortunately, do not match up. If you are one who may not use the very top row much, it is fine. From the ESC button to the Increase volume button is good, but from the PrtScn to the Arrow on the pc screen is off. It is an easy put on and removal but once the cover is on, it is secured. I love it, might just even keep it. If I have to use the later top row, I can just briefly lift that corner and it will still fit snuggly.PS.... does not shift when you are typing.

For what it is it will serve its purpose and intent. This is clearly for the surface book as the screen detach and other function row keys match that of the book and not the surface laptop.Color is good and looks nice on black Surface Laptop 3.Came in an envelope and had a slight crease so I had to put even flat weight on top before putting on machine so was flat.

Everything about it for its purpose is great in terms of durability, ease of cleanliness, and quality and what you'd expect. However, it is NOT for Surface Book 3 15" despite the product title saying it is. Please see my attached picture. It fits on my keys perfectly, I just shifted it down so you can see my issue. The top row of keys are not the same as what the buttons really are. The placement of the brightness, volume, and key light buttons are out of order, and I did not notice this until I tried to raise the volume only to lower the screen brightness did I figure this out. I will still keep cause it serves its general dust protection purpose, but I am not satisfied about this.

I have a Surface Book 3 15", which is the computer listed in the title for this product. THIS COVER WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR THE SURFACE BOOK 3. Per my photo, about half the top row is mislabeled. The cover fits well, the right key sizes and locations, and I checked that the cover had the dock icon, but all the sound and brightness keys are mixed up.It does fit well, the silicone kind of snaps into place. The material unpainted feels sticky, like cat hair will get stuck to it, but it probably washes easily and is better than hair under the keys.

Sticks on fine, I just lay it on. To clean I take it off and put it under water and swish it, and let it dry. I'm not crazy about the feeling of it as I type, and I feel like it slows me down, so if I'm typing something long, I take it off. The top row key "names" do NOT match the top row of keys on my Microsoft Surface book 2, but that has not been that big of a deal. Mine is pink, and maybe the clear would have been a better texture? But I still keep it on most of the time, because it keeps the keyboard clean, and that is what I wanted it for.
