The large size was simply too big. This one is perfect. The leather wrapping on the metal ring prevents chipped teeth - not sure how long it will last but in the meantime it's good.

I ordered the large, and it was too big to fit in my mouth. I measured the dimensions with a ruler and it came out to the size of the extra large. Not sure if it was a mistake on their end or if there is just significant variability amongst their products' size. I like the company though just not this product.

Just as the previous reviewers have stated, it's INDEED a GREAT product and quality is really put into the craft of these products. BUT.... Sadly it's just way too big for my jaw. I didn't even have to take it out of the package to figure that out. i even measured it. So i wont be able to use it.. :(Still! 4 Stars for a great product!

Way too big and I can typically use a larger gag, I'd recommend sticking with the medium or large ring gag. Also, the strap is pretty cheap looking, but not terrible considering the price.

Too big. Not to size.
Seems like it would be a great product.After reading reviews where people were saying to order the size down I made sure to do just that. The product I received was constructed how i wanted. But it was even bigger then the size up was supposed to be. It's for my girlfriends mouth and it doesn't even fit in mind. Way too big.
