Chromax Plus - 500mcg Chromium (60 Count)

I can honestly say that Iceland Chromax Plus has kept me from becoming a Type 2 diabetic. I decided one day to test myself with one of my husband's glucose testers. I was married for over 50 years to a type 1 diabetic. My sugar was 365 ! I thought it must have been a mistake, I had always been normal. For three days the reading stayed the same or higher. So I dug around in some of his old supplements and found an unopened bottle of this chromium and took a capsule before breakfast Tested several hours later. No change. Took another before lunch and waited several hours before testing again. This time it read 79! I have taken one faithfully every day since and it has kept my sugar around 100. Higher than I would like, but acceptable My Dr. says that some older women have a chromium deficiency that affects the pancreas, so it might not help everyone. It was a lifesaver for me. After dealing for a lifetime with diabetes with my husband, I didn't want spend the rest of mine with it! I hope this helps someone. Thank you Chromax Plus.

Helps keep my cravings for something sweet under better control

I love this , I feel better and I have lost some weight, not a lot but it helps. I have read other products that have high ratings and high prices and they always include Chromium in them, they have other ingredients in theirs that so not have anything I can see that would really help too much. An antioxidant will not help you lose weight or balance your sugars, and metabolism . I noticed that my blood pressure went down. I am not on any medication but my BP was in the hypertension mode. I think blood sugar and metabolism have to be in sync. I even do a liver support supplement once a month . I think this stuff is great! I will always be taking it. Even if your not a diabetic, and I am not, if you follow the Diabetic eating recommendations you will be healthy.

I really wanted to like this product as it has two different types of chromium but it has one serious side effect: it contains titanium dioxide. It is a substance that is considered carcinogenic to humans by many. International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as an IARC Group 2B carcinogen ''possibly carcinogen to humans''. So while scientists debate on its toxic effects, I wouldn't want to experiment with something that can give me cancer. I don't even use skin products with titanium dioxide anymore and definitely don't want to ingest any on a daily basis. I am actually surprised to find this item on the label of a health product.Thankfully I've also ordered New Chapter version of chromium and it doesn't contain any of this weird stuff. I would have never ordered this product if i knew about titanium dioxide being present in its formula.

I'm have been using this product for three months. It has done wonders for my insulin resistance but the bottle I just recievd has me a bit concerned. The capsules are clear and the inside powder is pink. They have never looked like that before.

Really liked this product, took it for 3 months and lost weight and kept blood sugar under control. I paid around $20 or less. Now it's $100!!!WON'T BE BUYING THIS AGAIN UNTIL THE PRICE COMES DOWN TO REASONABLE!!

Dropped my fasting blood sugar by 30 points after taking it for a month, no joke. I bought it on the advice of a patient (I'm a nurse) who had diabetes, took meds for years, and after taking chromium with cinnamon for some time was able to get off his diabetic medicines completely. I'm not diabetic, but my fasting blood sugar has been creeping up over the years to near diabetes levels. It was 99 six months ago, and this week it was 70. THAT is significant. I'm really happy with this product. I don't do reviews normally, but had to with this one.

Have used this product for years & works great to keep my blood sugar under control. Hard to find in stores so was very pleased to find on Amazon! Have not had to go on medication for my diabetes since this keeps blood sugar under control and keeps my A1C down. Course you have to watch what you eat. Great product!
