ADCMetalite 352 Reusable Penlight, Brushed Aluminum

I am a FF/EMT and, like the title of the review says, I really like this penlight. I bought 2 about 6 months ago and gave one to my partner. We have both used ours daily and the only problem I've had is that sometimes the switch gets turned on when I take my pants off. I keep the penlight in the appropriate pocket on EMT pants. It doesn't happen all the time: I'd say twice in 6 months. So, I've replaced the batteries twice in 6 months as well. The penlight feels very cheap to me, especially where the cap/switch screws into the body, but is actually very rugged. No dings, dents or deformities on this thing after 6 months of hard use. I recommend this to my friends, and if you're looking for something other than the cheap plastic disposable ones that everyone uses, I recommend this to you too.

Stopped working in approx 9 months with VERY intermittent use. When it arrived it had a small dent on the metal cylinder on the pen, but I'm not too special about those things and decided to just let it go. I know it's cheap pen light but things can either be better made, or be more expensive and with better quality; customers will decide what they want. Don't tell customers they can have both in this particular case, since that can't be backed up by it's quality.

I guess I was expecting the pen light "lock" to be part of the pen light, but it is actually only a little flimsy plastic cap that goes over the push button. Very easy to lose.

Good penlight, but occasionally when bulk ordering, one or two do not work.

I ordered this pen light to complete and order so I would get the free shipping. The quality of pen is poor, not what I expected. As a nurse I have had pen lights that works great. but not this one. Sorry

it fell and that was the end of it
