For me, it has that perfect amount of sag.Doesn't color my tone, cleans up nice when rolled back and that treble knob......it's the golden key. It doesn't go flat when you dial it left (like some pedals can).Work your 3-way and volume with it, you'll find what you are looking for.Works like a clean boost when the gain is all the way down too.I bought it to play the blues, to get that dirt. It does that and more...This pedal serves up such a sweet form of american dirt.Sweet sweet mojo. This pedal is great for the money. Definitely not a klon klone as everyone stated, but for the money. It is a great overdrive. Fairly transparent up to noon... then the gain starts affecting the tone. However, it has become a staple on my board.

Honestly, the best overdrive and boost pedal thrown into one. The overdrive sounds which come out of this pedal are fantastic. Nice warm clean but full of tone-melting goodness. I would not hesitate to buy another or recommend this to anyone. If you don't have this then you should consider picking one up.

Can't beat what you get for the $! Amazing clean boost, with a nice buffered signal path, and crunch to slightly mean gain. A lot for very little.

Great overdrive/boost. Has a slight mid bump to really help cut through. Very smooth and natural sounding.
