These Rollers Stay In My Hair!
Just what I needed. I had previously purchased the "newer" kind of roller - flocked, w/the plastic claw type clips. The rollers fell right off my head as soon as I moved - I have a lot of hair, but it's very fine. Plus they only had 3 or 4 medium sized rollers. I tried multiple stores looking for the rollers I used for 15 years - with the metal U-Clips, no luck. I found the Hotter Pro 20 on Amazon and immediately purchased. Within a few days I had beautiful, bouncy curls. All Medium Sized! This set has 10 or 12 medium sized rollers. Exactly what I need. Sure, your fingers get a little warm during that first loop of hair around the curler, but each roller has a little gripper at the end you can hang on to. It doesn't get hot.Well worth it. These curlers are HOT by the time I finish blow drying my hair. Curl has set by the time I finish my morning routine. Also - some folks say they have a problem withi the U-clips denting their hair. I've never had that problem - and I've left them in for an hour before.

Best Curlers on the Market
This is the only hot roller set I could find that has the metal heating posts and it is the BEST!! Without those metal posts, the curlers just can't get hot enough and don't hold a curl. Also the 'gripping teeth' on the curlers work wonders ... those curler sets with the flocking are absolutely worthless.

Remind me of the original Clairol hot rollers I used to use
Every since my last set of Remington hot rollers went out (after about 10 years of use), I could only find ionic hot rollers in the local stores. I tried a set, and they didn't curl my hair/hold curl at all. I started searching online and still had hard time finding "regular" hot rollers in the same size range (3/4" - 1 1/4") that I was accustomed to, but these looked and sounded similar online. While the curlers do take a long time to heat (and they don't necessarily seem that hot even when they are heated), they curled my hair on the first try and the curl held. The case is convenient, but the lid is a little awkward to maneuver. The rods (actually "slats") that the curling irons are posted on only go about halfway up the roller (the same as my last set of hot rollers, but different than my original Clairols where the posts when all the way to the top), but, so far, that seems sufficient to heat the roller. Now, I hope they'll last as long as my previous sets (10 - 15+ years each) because finding a replacement in the future that actually curls and hold the curl seems to becoming increasingly challenging. (NOTE: I have thick, straight hair, but it will curl/hold curl if the rollers are hot enough.)

Dead after 10 uses
This was purchased in August of 2014. It is now December 2015 I used these curlers maybe 10 times never leaving themplugged in after use and carefully putting it away. Today I plugged it in and NOTHING. No light no heat "Dead" I had a small6 roller heated rollers for 20 years with lots of use and they are still going. Do not buy this set it just does not last.

Still Debating
I haven't decided yet if I'm keeping this item or not. Some of the clips seem to be a little too large for the roller so sometimes the rollers don't stay in place. I would like less of the large rollers and more of the small and medium ones. So I'm still holding judgment on this set. It is hard to find a set similar and I've been using this type for many years. I've tried other types to no avail. I did like that a couple extra rollers were added.

Great item! Just like the original ones.
These work perfectly. Just like the original ones in the good old days. I have shoulder length hair and there are more than enough rollers to do my hair. It turns out perfect every time. When I want just a tousled look, I leave them in for 5 minutes. When I am putting my hair up and want a more curled look, 15 minutes does the trick! Would definitely recommend these to anyone who want an easy way to have gorgeous hair every time.

There is more wrong than right with this product
I have been using hot rollers for over 20 years so I know a good set from a bad set. Clairol made great hot roller sets but you can't hardly find them anywhere except used on Ebay. I did buy several used Clairol sets but they only last a few months to a year so I decided to give Hotsetters a try because of the 4 star rating. Here are the things that are wrong with these rollers: 1) They don't get hot enough. I have turned them on and let them "cook" for 45 minutes and they are no hotter than if I just use them after 10 minutes. That means that when you take the rollers out of your hair (if the rollers stay in -see complaint #2), you will only have a curl for about 20 minutes. Then your hair will go flat. When I used the Clairol rollers, I would have curls all day. 2) The pins that hold the roller in place are too big and thus the rollers keep falling out of my hair. The rollers themselves are big on the top and bottom but curve in for the middle so the fat long pins that come with the set do not work. You will find that if you have soft clean hair, that these rollers will just slide right off your hair onto the ground. Very disappointed but at this point if I pay to ship them back, I will lose more money than I spent.

HOT ROLLERS MODEL 1321 THE BEST THERE IS
I have used hot rollers for many years, over time I have learned that the ones with the tall round spindle heat the fastest, stay heated longer and curl the tightest curls. I know I have used this style for at least 20+ years, that's why when they finally quit working, I know exactly what to look for. I have ordered others that showed the picture of the type of rollers I wanted but to much surprise I opened the box and it was some style roller with a flat heating rod that the roller slides on, THIS DON'T WORK LIKE THIS MODEL 1321. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Before placing an order, it would do you well to contact the seller to make sure they are not trying to get one over on you, but as for the seller specifying the model 1321, you won't be disappointed. Good Luck with your curls!!! I purchased from "lamerchandise"
