This gear is sacrificial for the kitchen aid and for a little more expense (few pounds) easy drop in during a service vs nylon gear alone. Fits, works just over pack on the grease, needs more than you think

The media could not be loaded. Didn’t work see video worm gear just spins on the spindle it looks like the spindle is too big for the mounting and doesn’t fit right that’s half hour of my life I won’t get back by stripping it down putting it together and stripping it down again 😡 to be honest it’s the worse mixer I’ve ever used

This is exactly as described and is a sturdy product, value wise it is the same as most other sites so no savings to be had here.Following a YouTube video the old broken part was removed and new fitted in 30min.

I have not yer used the item but have bought it as the gear looks to be a weak part of the mixer possibly designed to strip in the event of being overloaded. I fitted one previously (to one of my two Mixers) so keeping it as the spare.

Fixed the mixer issue as expected, as the original had two teeth that had been broken off due to the mixer getting jammed with something metallic that fell into the bowl while it was working and jammed it up.
