Good fan.
This fan is great. I now have two of this model that replaced an older model that I've had some issues with. This model seems to have addressed many of the issues I've discovered with the model it replaced. They are fairly simple to install. Since I had a Hunter fan in place before it was much easier than a brand new install. I simply pulled off the old fan and used the old hardware that was exactly the same (albeit a different color). The shroud and baseplate were exactly the same size. I like that this model has five blades rather than 4 and I will say they are whisper quiet. I can't even hear them when they are on. I did not have to balance the blades on either fan and they move air very well. Also when they say "flush mount" they actually mean it. The shroud sits almost right next to the ceiling so it looks nice and clean. These seem to be a little more sturdy than the model it replaced.I will say that dealing with Hunter's customer service for the old fan was...annoying. They would NOT replace the motor even though it was bad. They insisted on sending me a new switch. I had three of these fans and I changed out every part between all three fans. Guess what part was the one consistent part that didn't work? You got it...the motor. So they send me out a switch. Then when I tell them "That didn't fix the problem" well they said they had to send me a SECOND switch because the first switch might be bad as well because they sit on the shelf and can go bad so it's their policy to send a second switch. *eye twitch* Don't you people test these things before you box them up or before you send them to people? Now I'm no electrical engineer...but unless you store these things at the bottom of the ocean inside the maw of a kraken I figure they're going to work even if they sit on a shelf for three or four years. I finally just called them and said "Well the motor started making this horrible squealing noise and gets very hot if I try to turn it on." They finally had to send me THIS model as a replacement because they old model was no longer being built or sold. They then asked me to chop the wires off the old motor and mail it to them. Bully to you, Hunter Fans. Enjoy your busted motor. I also sent them back the replacement switch...because I may have had to lie to get them to send me the correct part but I am no thief. Also I don't want a switch that's been sitting inside a kraken I'm allergic to shellfish.Good fans, semi-annoying customer service.

Silent fan with optional fixtures that take NORMAL BULBS is a giant win in my book
Ordered this fan along with the Hunter Fan Company Hunter Fan Company 99138 light kit (glass extra) from Amazon to replace a 6 month old store brand fan kit from local home improvement store. Why replace it so soon? Well for one the other fan was SOO noisy it was awful. Being in a bedroom a little background noise is OK & even nice when sleeping but the local bought fan would groan & buzz & moan.. They said it was likely defective but I had made the mistake of buying 3 of those local fans for our house & they all make similar noises so I said if I'm going to spend the time replacing the fan I'm getting a better one. That's where this Hunter came in. I wanted a hugger or low profile fan with lights & preferably with standard bulb sockets which are near impossible to find in ceiling fans these days due to gov'd regulations & fan companies trying to skirt them. After days of research I decided to to go this route despite the fact in the end it'd be 3x as much money as the local bought fan kit which included everything. This Hunter fan wasn't too bad to install really (aside from horribly tedius fan blade assembly with 1000 screws & washers lol and the light kit which I detailed in that review). Once installed I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be SILENT! No motor noise at all at any speed! SUCCESS! So it was well worth the effort & reluctantly the extra $. I can tell this is a quality fan & would buy it again. As far as cons, price for the fan itself wasn't bad. But by time I had to buy the light kit & the shades it ended up more than I really wanted to spend but it was worth it to have a quality fan and NORMAL BULBS! One complaint is fan speeds.. Low speed on this fan is about worthless. I mean it's great in my son's room since he just likes the motion but it spins so slowly it might as well not be on. So really it only leaves 2 usable/useful speeds. If you just want to see the fan moving low is great though :)

A Decent Ceiling Fan
This fan is perfect for what we needed. It’s quiet and does a nice job of cooling our small room. We have low ceilings and this gives my family, of average height, enough clearance to walk under. I do wish the second fan speed was a little faster; the low and medium settings are just about the same.

Very happy with purchase! Works perfect! As described
We had a really hard time finding a brown wood look wall hugger ceiling fan this size for my husband's man cave. Most of them hang down too long or come with light fixtures that hang down,we did not want. He loves this one, and it works perfect!

Awesome porch fan
Installed this in our porch. Love the ease of installation. They build quality is great versus other fans I have installed that make the installation a nightmare. It’s super quiet, powerful and just overall looks great. Received many compliments so far.

Nice
Installing this is a breeze since the instructions are quite clear and the parts are well labeled. It comes with everything required for the installation (unless you are connecting to an electrical box then you need a low profile fan rated box). The blades are reversible to suit your taste and the finish is quite nice. The airflow is adequate though not powerful so if you want a really strong airflow look elsewhere. This fan is quiet, very quiet so conversations do not need to be loud or if watching TV, listening to music etc. there is no noise to require increase sound levels. The antique pewter looks good against my white ceiling and there is slight gap between the ceiling and the fan cover which is not even noticeable (I have 10 ft. ceilings though).

DO NOT BUY
Stopped working in 1 day of use, spark inside the fan and smoke came out

US spec. Not 220v. Be warned
Beautiful fans. Quiet and low profile, just as I needed. Unfortunately what I didn’t notice when buying from Amazon UAE - where electricity is 220 volts - is that the fans have 120 volt motors. The fans lasted a few hours of use and then both blew their motors. So they went in the trash as new motors are more expensive than new fans from another supplier. Disappointing to say the least.

Kaliteli ürün
Maalesef Türkiye’deki elektrik sistemine uymadığı için iade etmek zorunda kaldım. Fakat ürünün malzeme kalitesi gerçekten çok çok iyi…
