Premium Backyard Washer Toss Game Includes 8 Washers with Built-In Bottle Openers

I'm sick and tired of technology and wish we could have something analog again...so I bought this!!! The product came in perfectly new condition, so no complaints there. After attempting to play by the rules that come with the game, we quickly decided to implement house rules. Instead of 20 feet, we play at 15 feet. Get some play sand and fill one box about halfway (see pictures). Keeping one box clean and unused was the goal and so far that has worked. After a few games played there will be some dings and dents in the box, duh! The washers seem to be pretty durable, so that's good. Most of the complaints in the customer reviews are for the same reason, but the sand eliminates bounce outs almost entirely. Our house rules are also to score any bounce outs that hit bottom, so that issue is moot. How Amazon chooses to ship your item may vary and that seems like the bigger issue in other reviews, but that's not the product makers fault. The item comes in a Viva Sol cardboard box and is encased in foam, so unless it was used, there shouldn't be any damage. Otherwise, unplug and go play something that requires only human skill.

Fun game, washers have a nice rubber coating, good weight, feel good in your hand & bonus, each one is also a bottle opener! The box closes well & the rope handle is sturdy & convenient. The wood looks really nice when it arrives but if you're playing on anything but a lawn, it will show wear, I don't mind as it adds character. The center tube seems to be attached well and the hardware looks like it will hold up.

The bottle opener "washers" are a nice touch, pretty much why I bought this brand! The item is well made, though it seems like with much use, it's going to chip the interior over time. It will just look well-loved! It is nicely stained and has a smart little peg on the inside of each of the box pieces so it aligns just right so you can latch it when you're done. It's pretty dense, but not too heavy to lug out to the beach while loaded down with chairs and beach bags.

FUN game. Fun concept for a game - but everyone gets super discouraged when playing because the discs bounce out of the box almost every time. You'll think you've got a great shot and it will hit the inside of the cup or the inside of the box and then fly out and not stay in! You feel ripped off when this happens! We've implemented a "sudden death" rule where if you get it inside of the cup and it stays then the game is over and you or your team WIN automatically. We've played 15 times and this sudden death rule has happened only once because it's THAT HARD to get the disc to stay in!! (Also, 20 feet is REALLY far apart, we play more like 15 feet based on the trajectory/bounce issue.) We have not yet taken this to the beach, but I can imagine that the discs will disappear very quickly if playing in sand.Pros: Great portability, love the design, love the bottle opener discs.Cons: Game is near impossible to get discs to stay in their intended landing location. BOUNCE OUTS are a regular thing.

Bought this washer set to have out at our backyard wedding. My wife loved that all the Viva Sol games matched and were high quality, so we bought the whole set to have out at the reception.I had played washers a few times with my buddies and loved it, so I was excited to have a set of my own. I didn’t even realize it when I bought it, but the boxes actually latch into one another and make a little case- perfect for taking it camping or something.But my favorite thing about this game is that the washers have a bottle opener built right into them. What a stroke of genius! The targets are also are super high quality, so this one is a win all around.

I ordered 2 for Christmas gifts- both were packaged in 1 large box. The exterior packing box was not damaged - however, one of the Washer game boxes was badly damaged, corner crushed, looked like might have been prior water damage... not appropriate for gift-giving.I also felt the product itself is poorly made (for being called a "premium" game: the finish on the wood box showing many finish flaws...I do understand that after using the game as intended, the box will have many more dents and bruises from the washers . . .Not happy.

Perfectly packaged and sturdy.Family will definitely enjoy playing and making memories.Update... as we played we came to the obvious, the bounce is way to much, the disks are to light and bounce right out. Suggestion... Add sand when playing to the box. Suggestion to the maker!

Bought this for the camper. We played it for the first time last weekend. I'd say the build quality is decent, not as great as some of the reviews would indicate. It's China made, so keep that in mind. Like other have mentioned, the washers are really light weight, and it is very easy to over-throw the washer (boxes are only 20' apart). Another issue we had was that a very high percentage (80%) of the washers that landed right in the box and/or cup got bounced out easily. Not sure if that's just a dynamic of the game or not, but it got frustrating. We never made it to 21 on any of the games because it took FOREVER to actually score....lolAll in all its a good game. I might end up customizing mine to reduce the bounce-outs...
