Full Access Control System Kit with Electric Strike Magnetic Lock + RFID Keypad + Power Supply + 10pcs RFID Keyfobs Tags (with 180KG Lock)

We needed a magnetic access lock for our internal office door. I previously ordered a similar product from a different supplier and found the magnetic lock very weak and easy to force open. So I returned that one and bought this instead. I found it easy to install myself and the magnetic lock very strong. The instructions are a little tricky to understand but we got there in the end. Managed to set a new entry code and program the RFIDs easily. Works a treat, good value for money.

Arrived as a single box but each item boxed separately inside. Magnet lock had no English instructions but YouTube sorted that issue out. Controller needs a direct mains feed, used a figure 8 cable for that. Wired up with cat5 cabling and working well. Wiring instructions aren't that bad to be fair, it is essentially just 5 cables from controller unit to devices. Very clicky entrance pad but the tokens work well and from a cm away. Again not very difficult to program if you read the order of events with # separating them. I would buy this again and would recommend.

IT WORKED

Though the items are adequate quality for the price, the wiring diagrams for installation are the worst I have ever seen. The 2 sets of diagrams do not seem to relate to each other & not colour coded, but are required for installation. Ultimately you pick a wire, guess where it is required & hope for the best. The key pad instructions are non sensical (seemingly a direct translation from Chinese with no attempt to adjust for correct English. I AM STILL IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO INSTALL ,GAVE UP ON THE DOOR LOCK & purchased a known brand for the door release mechanism. I think I will be able TO GET THE RFID keypad SYSTEM WORKING (eventually). Struggling to recommend based on the instructions, but the equipment itself seems adequate.

Quality i good, prise i fair enough. But the strike is NO or different said FAIL SAFE Meaning that if there is no power to the strike the door is gonna stay open!!! This works for fire doors normally.

For the money it seemed like a reasonable package. Once I wired it up it locked and unlocked efficiently using the exit button but… for the life of me I could not program the number pad or the fobs. I’ve spent days trying. Can’t even unlock with the factory settings so suspect it’s either been already used or it’s faulty. So if it had worked it would’ve been a great buy, but it didn’t so it wasn’t.

The panel does not accept the password and also reads the keychains.
