It is 40 hymns played on a church organ (organ only, no singing) that sounds just like you would hear in church. It's a 2 CD set. She also loved the CD "Avalon Sunday with Bob Salisbury" which is one CD of 27 hymns played on a church organ. Mom had a Bose radio/CD and the recordings were of an excellent quality and certainly filled a need.

relaxing music
A few of the songs had a small amunt of static, but the rest sounded reasonably good for the price. There are two cd's but so far have only noticed the static on the first few songs on one cd.

The price was very reasonable, the forty hymns are great selections and the two CDs arrived promptly. The CDs did not have the name of the pipe organ that I was hearing or the name of the organist playing the hymns. The majestic sound I was looking for is not there. I have a CD with a variety of hymns accompanied by several different instruments and there is one featuring a pipe organ solo. My car has eleven Bose speakers and the sound on this pipe organ is magnificent. It makes me feel like I am in a great sanctuary with the organ and the base sound is very majestic. I love it. I will have to do more research to find a pipe organ CD that features a great pipe organ and a great organist. I am sure I will have to pay more, but that is what I am looking for.

Church Pipe Organ Sound
I'm learning to play the organ for church services. I use this CD and others to listen to hymns I'm not familiar with so I know what they are supposed to sound like. They are very useful for me.

I was informed by seller that the first cd I ordered had been damaged and was undeliverable. I reordered and received the second one earlier than I expected. I love the music on this cd. It reminds me of my happy childhood/younger days spent in my local Methodist church. I would recomend this cd to anyone with an interest in church organ music. It's not fancy, just basic hymn playing.

A CD of good old fashioned hymns played the traditional way. It's not a very exciting collection but if you want to hear hymns played simply on a chapel organ then this is the album for you. There are no choirs included and this adds to the magic of the CD.
