Kreg KTC55 System Organizer
The Kreg KTC55 organizer is a pretty handy way to keep your valuable pocket hole jigs from being damaged during transport and storage.I am completely gutting my den and building custom red oak base and wall cabinets, and I elected to go with the Kreg pocket hole system. I picked up the Kreg K5 Pocket Hole jig, and I really like the engineering that went into developing the K5. In choosing the Kreg K5, I saw the need to keep such an expensive piece of equipment protected from being banged around while it was not in use. As many of the parts are plastic (pretty heavy plastic, but plastic nonetheless), I could foresee parts of it being damaged by other tools in my cabinet where I was going to store it.I ordered the Kreg KTC55 Organizer on 11Nov15 and it arrived 18Nov15. The external shipping box appeared undamaged. Opening the external shipping box revealed the Kreg KTC55 Organizer; there is no colorful retail packaging, just the organizer with a product features label. The label easily peeled off leaving no residue on the clear lid.The Kreg KTC55 is surprisingly big. I guess I had not really visualized it in my mind how big it would have to be in order to accommodate the K5 Pocket Hole Jig. The construction of the blue case, clear lid and grey internal compartments is solid and consists of fairly thick plastic. The only aspect about which I am apprehensive is the plastic latches and the only way these are going to last is if you are really, really, really careful. I can foresee that these will be the first things to be broken if the KTC55 is allowed to bang about in the back of a pickup truck, or otherwise treated roughly. The Kreg KTC55 measures 18" wide x 6.75" high x 15.25" deep at the handle. The clamp storage area is deep and long enough to hold three face clamps, although only the KHC-RAC right-angle or the KHC-Premium 3-inch face clamps will fit, not the big KHC-LARGE 6-inch one. Taking out the left-hand accessory storage section, you can fit five face clamps comfortably, six if you really want to cram them in.It easily accommodates the main K5 jig, as well as the two support/storage wings (and of course, these can hold lots of small accessories in the storage area), space for up to 4 stepped drill bits, 7 standard square-drive bits. Note that the storage wings sit in the middle section, and both wings actually sit on a short ledge, leaving some storage space below them.I had picked up a K4MS Jig Master System in 2014 with the intent to use it on the den project, and it came with its own storage case. I upgraded to the K5 system as I was going to be drilling pocket holes in some 29-inch by 22-in panels, and the K4 system lever system is set up for smaller or narrower pieces, such as rails and stiles. I still intend to use it for that purpose, while also using the K5 with its lever in the front for the larger panels. Unfortunately, there is room for only either the K5 or the K4, not both. All the K4 and K5 drivers and bits can be stored in the KTC55 Organizer, but not both jigs. The description claims to accommodate several 500-count boxes of pocket screws. Having several boxes, I tried to see how many would go in the other big slot intended for clamp storage. Unfortunately that did not work. It took some effort and caused both grey inserts to flex quite a bit. I removed the smaller, left-hand-side insert and the KTC55 Organizer managed to accommodate four 500-count screw boxes laid flat on their sides. You can also fit two 1000-count screw boxes laid flat on their sides and one upright 500-count screw box.If you do not intend to use the clamp storage area for clamps, it handily accepts items such as the KMA3220 5mm Shelf Pin Jig, Kreg Jig Material Support stops, and KKS1030 Klamp Blocks. To make a long story short, the KTC55 Organizer is a good organizer and protector for your expensive K5 or K4 Pocket Hole systems, especially if you are hard over on the Kreg brand. There are some short-comings, so buyer beware; you might want to spend $20 and get a basic plastic Stanley toolbox which will accomplish the same thing, and have a sturdier latch. I am giving it 5 stars as it does exactly what it is advertised to do, although I may return and adjust that rating based on the durability of the latches over the coming year.

Great to keep the K5 and accessories all together.
I am a hobbyist in terms of wood working. I've made a few things (pie safe, window seat,..) over the years, but did things the "older" way with mortise/tendon. This was great for pieces that I want to look authentic to their time-period, like the pie safe, but time consuming for other pieces that really don't need this feature. So bought the Kreg K5 Jig and many accessories (micro jig, hd jig, clamps). Bought this organizer to hold everything so it is easy to have it all together when working on something. This works very well and holds everything nicely. Has room for extra bits and drivers as well. It has room to hold a small container of screws too, but I keep those all together elsewhere as I have a mix of sizes and types. The case is a harder plastic material, so would think it could crack if you drop it or try to stand on it, or stack stuff on it. I am very happy with it for the price as it keeps all the components for me (minus the screws and my cordless drill) in one place so I can pick it up and take it with me.

This is an excellent addition to my shop
This is an excellent addition to my shop, even if I was surprised by how large it is. It holds my entire K4MS jig system, a Kreg Jig HD, 2 right angle clamps, a standard face clamp, and 2 Rockler Pock-It Hole clamps. There is still room for extra bits, drills, and micro jig and/or mini jig, and at least one more face clamp. A much better option than a random tool box drawer and the stock grey box that came with the jig system. It should be noted, however, that this is probably not something if your Kreg jig is going to kick around in the bed of your truck or job box. The latches are plastic and the lid doesn't seem like it would take an impact very well. It is perfect for keeping everything in one place and organized when not in use, but I would not call this "professional grade" by any means. That being said, it is a 5 star item for a DIY'er.

Sturdy case, well organized, not perfect
I bought this case to store my K5 pocket hole jig and clamps. Overall I am satisfied, this is a good case, but not perfect. It is a sturdy plastic case. Here are my likes and dislike.Likes: the dividers that allow for easy storage of all parts of the K5. Secure storage for the drill bits, drivers, hex keys (they are all snug so I don't have to worry about them falling out as you carry the case. Room for expansion if I ever buy additional pieces for the K5.Dislikes: there is no dedicated storage for the clamp on jig (see red circle in picture #3), you can find room, but it is just loose. If you purchase the clamp that goes inside the pocket hole, it is a tight fit.I feel like it is slightly overpriced, but it does what it is designed for and does it well. If you want a dedicated storage container for your Kreg K4 or K5 pocket hole jig, this is the case you want.

Expensive? How much is your time worth?
It's not cheap. That's not debatable. But, for me, it was worth it. I paid a lot of money for my Kreg jig and parts. This keeps them all together so when I go to work on something, I can find it all in one place. I was trying to cram it all in the box the jig came in but that wasn't working. This holds my jig, the micro jig part, the bits, the clamps, all of it. And it has room for more bits and drivers. It's well made for what it is, at least. I decided that since I spent over $200 on the jig and other parts, it's silly to cheap out on caring for it. This takes care of my tools and insures I can find all the parts when I need them. Consider, how much is your time worth? How much time will you waste looking for the bits or drivers instead of putting your stuff together? Me? None. I got the organizer and all my Kreg pocket hole jig stuff is together.

It is bigger than I imagined!
It hold everything well but the overall size is larger than I thought it would be. I never measured or compared the size but I was surprised when I opened the box and saw it. The container holds all of my pocket hole supplies nicely in a single place. It saves me from having to hunt for the jig, the bits, the screws, and dowels.

Excelente compra.

Nice and sturdy
Received the case and it looks great. The snaps are sturdy. It is a large storage case but I knew that from other reviews. Great case to keep all my Kreg accessories together.
