The bowls fit perfectly into the depressions on the tray and do not slide around. The raised food bowl is just the right depth so that the kitty does not get whisker fatigue. The water bowl is large enough to acommodate enough water, and the lip is raised enough to prevent spillage. The tray is large enough to catch stray bits of dropped food. The dining tray holds the raised water and food bowl well. Easy to move then around to different part of the house. Also helps with preventing ants from getting to the food bowl as I am able to place some water in the dining tray so the ants can’t reach the food.
