Buy True Ghost Stories: Jim Harold's Campfire 4 then buy the other three
I remember when Jim put together the first "Campfire" book. I couldn't put it down and when it was done i wished there was another one to read. Well, my wish has come true several times. This is the fourth Campfire book and it's as good as the first three and that's saying a lot. I have all four books on my Kindle Paperwhite and red them at the campfire on Boy Scout and other campouts. I always have complaints of lack of sleep the next day. Jim is a pretty incredible guy. I've been listening to his podcasts for years. I think he is easily the best broadcaster around and I keep waiting for him to take over the airwaves. He won't say it but I think he understands the pulse of the paranormal community better than most of the now big name paranormal broadcasters. Any way, buy the book. Buy all three, you won't regret it. You'll be glad you did. Subscribe to Jim Harold's Paranormal Podcast. You won't regret that either!

Awesome Book!
Love these Campfire stories - Volume 4 delivered as well as the last 3 volumes - these true accounts of the paranormal is amazing as you just don't realize how many people in this world encounter the unknown - does not matter where you are in this world - you are bound to encounter something that you just don't understand or can't comprehend - Great Book Jim Harold! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more books in the Campfire series!

Break out the marshmallows and get comfortable with this book!
Jim Harold has a knack for getting to the heart of the story! These short stories (all reported by ordinary people who just happened to have an extraordinary experience) are not only easy to read, they are each fascinating and unique. The stories truly do give you the feeling you are sitting around a campfire, talking with friends. One of my favorite things about these stories is that the storyteller often says he or she simply can't explain what happened. This lends credulity to the stories, in my opinion.

and best of all true
It's a difficult thing to put together a book of spooky true life stories without coming across as hokey. Jim Harold has done it for the fourth time! These stories are chilling, thought provoking, poignant, and best of all true! The timing of the release of this book is great for Halloween aficionados but any of the Campfire series (or all of them) are books that make for good, spooky, fun reading all year round!

Creepy Amazement!
Just amazing! The very best book in its genre! The "True Ghost Stories" Part 4 from the Jim Harold Campfire Collection is so much spooky fun. I have been obsessed with all things ghostly since I was 5 years old (I am 50 now). I have nearly exhausted the library of ghost phenomena. But these stories open up a whole new dark and ghoulish avenue of creepy! I can't recommend this book (indeed the whole Campfire Collection) enough. Can't wait for Campfire 5!

Love this series!
Jim Harold has another hit on his hands! I love that the stories are told in first person, and a few are guaranteed to raise the hair on the back of your neck. However, none are graphic or contain gore, so they can be enjoyed by all but the youngest readers.

Great Selection of STories
I've read every one of Jim's True Ghost Stories books and each one seems to get better. It's great the way the book is divided into different topics such as ghosts, UFOs, etc. I like the fact that the stories are short, just the right size to read one or two while I'm waiting in the doctor's office, etc.

If this is posted around Halloween - BOOOOOOO
Simple short stories. An easy read. Some make one wonder if the stories are real or imagined. I'm a true believer in the after life, GOD, Heaven, Angels, ghosts, guides, spirits, paranormal, UFO's but some of these stories are ..... far out ... but reasonably well written. In any event, it's an entertaining read.

Five star podcast, four star book
My teenage son stumbled across Jim Harold's podcast and I soon started listening even though I'm not a believer in ghosts, psychics or the Loch Ness Monster. Nevertheless, some of his guests are very well educated and interesting. I like the way Jim listens to them with an open mind without interrupting, no matter how wacky their stories. This book is a compilation of tales submitted by Jim's listeners. Some of them are very convincing but a fair few do seem a bit daft. You see a man walking in a stream of traffic and disappear. Perhaps he got into a vehicle? No that is not the logical answer, the logical answer is that there was an alien abduction or a timeslip. Nevertheless some of the stories do have the ring of truth about them, maybe the person didn't actually see a ghost but they believed they did. One reader's story about her two deceased dogs is very touching. Another, where a medic sees a man looking out of a hospital window (I won't give away the rest) is genuinely unsettling. If you like spooky stories that are fairly tame then this might be the book for you.

Not sure what I was expecting but this was very poor. I have read many true ghosts books but I wouldn't bother reading this again.Instead, I recommend 'haunted holidays' by Anne Bradford or 'haunted midlands' by her - incredible real life, first person accounts. Absolutely fascinating.

Things that go bump...anytime.
If you like your stories spooky then you'll find exactly what you want inside this, the fourth entry, book. Once again Jim has put together a great read and my only complaint is that it isn't long enough, but these books rarely are. Buy it.

Great
Nice little collection of readers' real life spooky tales. My only complaint is that there isn't enough of them -I read them all in one night! Don't forget to check out Jim Harolds podcast.

Makes you think.
Curious stories, you'll have heard the type before, but each one is slightly different as they're told by those who actually experienced them. Good read.
