I was initially upset about this product because I thought it was not polarized. I was wrong. This product is made by a manufacturer of polarizing films and does, in fact, contain one lamination of polarizing film. The effect is subtle when held to a computer screen, iPhone, or sunglasses. Because it is one layer of polarizing film it doesn’t go all the way to extinction when you view it through another polarizing filter. It was so subtle an effect I immediately looked at one star reviews and confirmed my erroneous suspicions and jumped on the band wagon. For this, I am sorry 3D Mention Media, LLC. This thing works. The product does not work miracles but, while subtle, it’s effect is noticeable. I drive a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i and I’m constantly getting blasted by sun glare and people’s headlights. The yellow tint is barely noticeable after a very short adjustment time and take a harshness off of the headlights of oncoming traffic at night and sun reflections during the day (though not as good as a nice pair of polarized glasses). Cooler still, you can use this in conjunction with polarized shades during the day. I use this all the time. It’s pretty awesome, albeit not magical. The mounting solution seemed cheap when I got it out of the box (two strips of Velcro), but it works very well, staying firmly affixed. The articulated points are all metal and they have a tactile feel and locking clicky action to them that holds the glare guard at the angle you set it.

I am very pleased with my purchase and installation of this New Night Driving drop down Visor Glare Guard I found on AMAZON. It is a little more yellow tinted (darker) in a good way then some others I have used and or seen. This helps bring down the brightness of the new LED HIGH BEAM on coming head lights that are becoming a crazy bright standard thing. Easy cheesy install. Simple attachment. clean smooth operation. I have already shown this new added feature in my van to many of my friends. They are also going to order this new visor for their cars. Bob of Handybobs.com

It didnt go low enough for my mom. It works well enjoy, just probably better for taller ppl. Gave it to my cousin who likes it.

Does Not block the glare? My husband struggle, seeing at night with the lights coming at him and this does not work I was gonna return it, but I'm off by one day

Wasn’t what I thought

It's fine but not as dark as I expected. My car is small (2002 Toyota Corolla) and I am very tall (my head grazes the ceiling of the car) so I wasn't able to install the yellow thing the regular way (because if I flip the car's visor down it completely obstructs my view of the road ahead, so I need to keep the car's visor up, so the yellow thing would be plastered against my face when I flip it down). Instead I installed it at the base of the car's visor (the windshield side). Because of where the car's visor snaps into the car ceiling I wasn't able to place the yellow thing how I wanted (the clips would have been right where the car's visor snaps in) so I unscrewed the two clips and swapped them and screwed them back in (very easy---just need a screwdriver and you don't need to be strong). Now the clips are closer to the centre of the yellow thing and it fits perfectly on the car's visor. The only small downside is there is about a half inch gap between the top of the windshield and the top of the yellow thing. Now that it's installed it's really easy to use. I use it during the day and at night. Update: really helps with light-sensitivity at night! I didn’t realize how well it was working until I was in a different car and instantly got migraines from headlights. I can’t believe this actually works!

Definitely helps prevent glaring headlights and bright sunlight. Well worth the money. I feel more confident when I drive at night now. Excellent product!

Had high hopes that this would cut headlight starburst/glare at night but, honestly, I could not tell ANY difference. Unfortunately, I waited too long and missed the return window. :(

My husband is very sensitive to bright lights and this works great for him. He's very happy with it.

Gave to my father, he has no issues now driving at night. Plus he says that it also works well during Sunset.

I've been looking for something to cut down flaring from lights at night, and this is not it.
