STURDY COMFORTABLE EASY
I only write reviews when I know for sure someone else can benefit from it. Weather its bad or good I try to pass it on. I got a sesamoid fracture last year . Went to the foot doctor and paid for this fancy boot that costed 90$ and it basically felt like a cast kept me immobile. I walk on treadmill everyday and I was getting sooo depressed I couldnt stand it. So I laid off my foot and did contrast soaks for 6 months straight as per instructed. Slowly it did come back (the pain) not as bad but I was afraid that whatever healin it got was going to mutilated by me working out. If im not working out Im not happy. So I researched and researched for weeks. I narrowed it down to this boot and a few others , finally just picking this on the risk of the bad reviews not having me to excited on what it would offer me. I put it on and did my first walk on treadmill for about 30 minutes. It was an adjustment but minor. I have been walking on the treadmill for 2 weeks and wearing this as a shoe for 45 minutes at a time, everyday. This boot has held up. Is it keeping my toe in place as it should maybe not completley because after 2 weeks it bends a bit more. But it keeps the majority of my weight off my toe. NO PAIN! Shoe hasnt broke, not even the slighted tread has come off. Velcro in place still easily adjustable. So there it is. Its bascially my second shoe. I cant believe it actually. I literally wasnt even on amazon. I got off the treadmill to write this review because Im absolutley impressed. Highly recommend!

Great show for broken foot!
It fits really good if you follow the adjusting instructions, and I even have a narrow foot. It was durable for outings and walking in while I waited for my broken foot to heal. Highly recommend!

Does the job
Third surgical shoe I tried before finding this one for my broken toes. This shoe has a rigid inner sole, unlike the others, so your injury won't move. 4 stars and not 5 for 2 reasons: first, velcro across and above toe area is ok but doesn't stop all movement of toes when you step. Some kind of additional internal rigid shell agaisnt the top of the foot would have been ideal. I jury rig as well as I can. Second, the closed toe is great, plenty of space so injury is not touched. It would have been easy, tho, to make the closed toe a removable insert so u had the option of open toe when at home or resting. I would pay more for this option. But it's a minor thing. The shoe is overall supportive and comfortable. I have multiple breaks so wear a stronger heavy plastic boot when walking or working, but this shoe is fine to sleep in, and for times of less activity. Would definately buy again.

Comfort and quality
The brace shoe fit perfectly and walking with it is as any ordinary shoe. My wife wears socks with it with no problems. The material is durable and light weight. A very good support show for broken, sprained or bruised toes where a regular show cannot be worn.

Great Product, Size Chart Is Way Off
I did something to my foot, and the pain kept getting worse. Urgent care x-rayed and said it wasn't broken. They gave me a shoe like this, but open like a sandal, to wear. Here in the Northeast it's winter and there are inches of snow on the ground, so I figured a closed version would be an improvement, even though it's not waterproof. I wear a woman's 8.5, so I followed the size chart and ordered a medium. It was huge on me, so I downsized to a small. I'd say I'm the top limit for a small, but it fits perfectly and I immediately started feeling improvement in my foot. It's been less than a week, and it's continuing to improve. With any luck I'll be back in a real shoe soon. I've been taking my dogs out in this, and while I'm sure my foot would get soaked if I stepped in slush, it's stayed pretty dry just walking in the snow, though I do try to avoid immersing my foot in it. Also, heightwise this is a very close match to the Merrell clogs I normally wear, so it's not making my stride too uneven. I'm very pleased and feel I got excellent value for the money.

Really size down!!
It’s okay, it works. I’m a size 7 in women’s and I got the small which is supposed to be anywhere from 5-7 and it’s way too big! Doesn’t feel the most sturdy but I’m still grateful it’s something to protect my foot.

Great Choice
I bought this for a fractured toe after being very uncomfortable in the shoe I received at the doctors. I need a lot of cushion for very arthritic feet. I followed reviewers suggestions to size down and it fits perfectly. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 wide and I ordered size small and its perfect. It's about 3/4 inch longer than my longest toe and plenty of width, plus the width is adjustable. There is also room for adding an insole for more cushion. This keeps my toes from bending when I walk and its very comfortable. Great purchase and very thankful.

S or M? Measured in between…
I wear a women’s 7.5, have a narrow foot and a high arch. I measured my foot like the picture says and it just barely measured for a medium. I ended up buying a small and a medium and definitely prefer the small. My toe is almost at the end of it, but the width fits MUCH better and I can get a snug fit. I even had room to put my 3/4 length vionic support in it. I can actually use the ankle strap the way it is supposed to be used (per the insert that comes with it). The medium was too long-I often bumped into things with it, it was too wide, too much wiggle room which felt loose and unsecured, and I had to criss cross the strap and fasten it at the back of my heel. I wore the medium for a week before I broke down and got the small. With a broken metatarsal, this shoe has been good for me to slowly transition from a walking boot-building up time in it as healing occurs but not pushing it too soon. It allows the ankle to move which feels nice a little each day after being in the boot most of the time. It is also much easier to slip on and off at night if you have to get up! I do think if my foot would have been swollen the medium would have come in handy, but after wearing both for a while I recommend the small if you are between sizes and have a narrow foot. There were not many reviews for that so hopefully this helps someone. :)

Excelente
