Awesome price and great product. Changes the look of the bike for the better.
Great value for the price. Nice looking product and very sturdy. Use lock Tite on the fasteners obviously. No instructions but it's kind of obvious really. Should take 30 minutes or less to install. Included hardware was all I needed on my 2010 iron 883. Another just like this one on Amazon has some comments about a wrinkly finish but I don't find that to be the case with this vendor and had a great price with faster shipping so I took the chance. No regrets, the finish matches the engine pretty good, same color and texture.

Product As Described. Works Well and Looks Good
Sissy bar with pad is very good and sturdy. The only issue was the mounting bolts that came with the set. Very soft metal and stripped easily. I used 2 alternate mounting bolts because I stripped 2 of them out . I still gave the product 5 stars as this was a minor issue considering the very low cost of the sissy bar. Does not come with instructions but it just took a little thought to figure it all out. Worth the money!

Good/affordable sissy bar
Not too crazy to install but no instructions provided either. Welding is poor quality so not sure how long it will last. Cushion is ok but overall look (from 10+ feet away bc of welding) is good. Wifey says backrest is 7.5/10 comfortability (could be a little higher). Price is great and can’t be beat.

Provided Bolts Should Be Replaced
The Good: Overall the sissy bar itself is excellent quality. It is sturdy and solidly welded. The docking attachments are metal and painted black. They feel sturdy, though, per another comment, I have added some Loctite 243 to the retaining bolts (3mm hex head drive). The paint is not perfect, but it is well enough done that the bar doesn't look like a poorly conceived, cheap add-on (it don't look like trash). I was especially surprised with the quality of the backrest cushion. I expected to immediately need to remove and re-upholster it or replace it. However, it is firm, and the covering material seems to be of quite high quality--it does not look or feel out of place on the bike. I've noticed several comments saying the packaging was insufficient, but mine arrived double-boxed and bubble wrapped. There was no damage. The bolts, nuts, and flanges were inside a stapled, folded and zip-tied heavy duty plastic bad attached to the base of sissy bar. There were no pieces missing. The Bad: Installation was easy, but I feel that the provided hardware (bolts and nuts) should be re-thought and replaced. The original hardware is SAE (Front Bolts: Button Head, T40 5/16-24, 1 3/4"; Rear Bolts: Button Head, T40 5/16-24, 1 1/4"), but the replacement hardware is metric and far too long (6.5 cm, or appx. 2 1/2"). This wouldn't really be a problem if it was a simple matter of just replacing the bolts and nuts. However, the original nuts are locking nuts. That is, they are tapered slightly so that as the bolt enters the nut the combination tightens and locks the bolt into place at the proper depth. This feature is completely absent in the replacement hardware provided. I used some Loctite 243 on them, but I'm still not confident they will stay in place indefinitely. The other issue is the length of the provided bolts. Remember that these bolts are protruding into your wheel well. Harley sized the bolts to ensure clearance for the tire. I'm not sure that if I bottom out my suspension on a hard bump that I won't also end up with a catastrophic blowout. Amazon was terrible on their end. This is a Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) product--if the product says that it is in stock that means Amazon has it in their possession at one of their warehouses. There were 17 in stock when I ordered. After two weeks without shipping the product, I contacted Amazon to find out why I was still waiting. 17 representatives and 14 "technical difficulties" on the representatives' side later all I could get from Amazon was "It's stuck, cancel your order and re-order at a higher transport rate." I absolutely refused and demanded that they fulfill the terms of our contract--it eventually showed up and I never got an explanation.

Update - OK product
This companies customer service is a complete joke, the quality of the parts overall is cheap but I don’t think it will break. Good luck if you have any install questions, you will not get answers from seller. Thing came in like 2 days which is pretty nuts. No directions, however I was replacing an almost identical clip on seat like this one so I remember how it went on. I took off old mounts and added new ones and had it attached in less than 15 minutes. Very sturdy, has a very small amount of play up and down on the front mount stubs, think I’m going to fix that with a small rubber ring but you don’t need to at all, it’s not metal to metal direct connection so it won’t rattle I just have OCD. Cushion is very soft and real feeling. Only side note is that there are two very small black Allen screws about 3/4” long and I have no idea where those dudes go so hopefully not essential. I yanked on this thing really hard and it doesn’t budge. Just as good as Harley quick disconnect my buddy has on same bike till you get up really close.

Can't go wrong with this one.
This sissy bar will fit a wide variety of width fenders. The flat portion of the mounting bracket can be tweeked a few inches in or out without too much trouble. Shipped fast. I got mine in 3 days. All of the mounting hardware is included and once installed, allows for the sissy bar to be removed/mounted easily without tools. This is a sturdy and functional piece of equipment that was a breeze to install. Great deal for the price.

Better than $200 for a Harley sissy bar
I drive a 2004 sportster, fit perfectly on it. Granted, there’s no instructions. But if you have an IQ over 60 you should be good to go. It doesn’t come with any tools so be aware of that, all you’re gonna need is an Allen wrench. Sturdiness: honestly, it’s sturdier than I expected a Chinese made - no instructions included sissy bar. The wife was nervous about it falling off (rightfully so) but those fears were abated when I put my full weight of 170 lbs on the top of the sissy bar and jumped. I pushed, pulled, yanked back and forth and it wouldn’t move so I give it a 10/10 Installation: what you see is what you get. Have heard some people have said theirs arrived bent, luckily mine arrived fine HOWEVER and you may not run into this but in order for the latches to line up on the bottom of the bar (where it screws into the side of the fender) I did need to put a little pressure going inwards but it made it more snug so no complaints. Looks: looks wise it looks really good, it’s black so it pretty much goes with anything which is nice. It’s nice on my bike especially since it’s older and it’s hard finding Harley parts for an older bike.
