PROS OUTWEIGH THE CONS
These are the best piddle pads we've bought to date. We've been using them this past week and haven't had any tracking as of yet (claws crossed!). That's huge! We have a 10y/o spaniel that takes lasix so she uses the pad when she has to go and no ones around so, if these things can stand up to a full grown dog on water pills then I'm impressed. We have had pads in the past that were a larger size which was nice considering you didn't need to lay out as many but that is a small issue compared to how effective these pads have been. The packaging looks odd in the picture on here (like a cafeteria milk carton?) but when they arrive at your door they come in the typical plastic covering inside the box. We did laugh when the box showed up with a big "FRAGILE" label and 8 air pouches inside but apart from that it was pretty simple and straight forward. The pads themselves are also very thin, I'm still surprised by how thin these things are and how much liquid they hold. Its great. The pads themselves have this print on them of a dog and a cat in a convertible drying passed palm trees, you don't really see it from the top once they're laid out but it was cute. Lastly, if you're training your dog/puppy to use pads for the first time each pack comes with a suggested training technique to get them to catch on quickly. Again, nice touch. Overall, we're definitely switching to this brand and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a really effective piddle pad.PROS: No tracking, Very Thin, Holds a lot of liquid, cute print, comes with training technique suggestion cardCONS: Not as large as other pads we've used in the pastTIPS: For those new to using pads, even though this brand absorbs a bunch of liquid, it's still best to make sure the pads overlap so the white quilting is touching the white quilting (i.e. don't just overlap edges) so urine isn't able to seep through the seams and onto your floor.*** Did you find this review helpful? EXCELLENT quality, but color backing is TERRIBLE!
This pad would be 5 star perfect if not for the color backing. There is an insane amount of pattern in a reddish color. A simple black paw print would be not only more appealing to the eye, but SAFER as well. When the pad gets used by your pet, you may think blood is in the urine until you realize it's the backing. The problem with this is, if there ever IS blood in your pets urine, you may MISSit because you think it's just the backing!! It is a shame the backing has this terrible busy "red" backing because otherwise, this pad is the BEST quality pad I have EVER purchased!! Literally ZERO leaks, absorbs COMPLETELY, and is a PERFECT size!! The brand Logo on the back may be cute, but it's a game changer!*update 7/28/17This company has amazing customer service and even sent another package of pads . I still hope the red color may be eventually changed. As I previously said these are otherwise the best pads I have ever used. Zero leaks and they really do just "roll up" without any mess.10/12/17 Update. Almost to 5 Star. I am still not fond of having color in the backing, but I just ordered 3 more packs because the quality is awesome. They really DO NOT leak. When I roll up the used pads I am always happy with my floor being dry and clean!

Puppy Pads - being used for cat
I recently started to find urine in my basement, under my oil tank. I have 4 cats, one recently adopted. She is very old and doesn't use the basement, so it is obviously coming from one of the other cats, who must be acting out because of the new cat (since there are two litter boxes readily available in the basement). I don't blame whichever cat is doing it, and although the basement has linoleum, so it is easy to wipe up, I decided to buy puppy pads to put under the oil tank. The cat is using the pads now, and the pads are very effective in soaking up the urine. There is no odor, just a wet pad. So now clean up is picking up the pad, tossing it in the trash, and putting down another pad. Easy breezy!

5-paws! Dachsie seal of approval
These are without a doubt the best training pads I've ever used for my dachshunds. I have tried countless brands in my search for a reasonably priced pad that absorbed quickly, contained odor, and was large enough to accommodate my long little dawgies. My first trial was literally a side-by-side test, as I had "leftovers" from two previous purchases of other brands. The California Pet Supply pads outperformed the others paws down. These are the only kind I buy now; I think this latest batch was my third or fourth reorder. Both my dachsies are rescues and both are housetrained. My little girl, however, still has anxiety issues at times and sometimes can't make it out the doggie door in time. Keeping training pads right by the door has helped keep my floors clean and has given my little rescue gal a safe place to eliminate when she can't get outside in time.

For the Dummy of Puppy Pads in me - or you!
It's just too bad that I have to give a 5-star review to puppy pads...*SIGH*I like these more than the best seller in the category, which I have bought now for over a year, as they have printing on the floor side. The other one doesn't, making it occasionally necessary to carefully flip and flop until one is sure the correct side is facing up.They both work just as well, but the printing makes it immediately obvious which side faces the floor. For the Dummy of Puppy Pads that is me. And Pibbles my Pit Bull.
