Clover 1047/H Deep Blue Amour Crochet Hook, Size H, 5.0mm

I like this hook. This is a good hook. I am, for the most part, happy with it. It doesn't drag on the yarn at all. Stitches are made easily and quickly. The ergonomic handle is comfortable and I can use it for quite a long time without any hand fatigue. This is my best hook for flying. It preforms well, and is also cheap enough that I don't worry too much about TSA taking it. (This has never happened to me before, but I have heard stories) This would also be a great hook for beginners who don't need an expensive hook to start out with. Where it falls short of being my favorite: Even though it doesn't catch the yarn there is still a bit of a rasping sound and feeling when using it. It's kind of hard to describe, but there's a fantastic youtube video by Elise Rose Crochet that analyzes the smoothness of different hooks and helps to explain the "raspiness" of this particular one. The head of this hook is also a bit fat. I prefer a sharper/thinner head on my hooks. A shape that's actually kind of hard to find. Additionally, and this is really just a minor thing, but it's not very pretty... The soft ergonomic grip is functional, but at this point, pretty common, and not aesthetically interesting. Still a very good hook. I highly recommend for beginners, and it will be in my bag the next time I fly.

Ok. We’ve all seen people rave about about these hooks on socials. Reddit LOVES them. I needed a hook for a project and the one I had was giving me major hand pain, so I decided to go for a Proper Fancy-Pants Fancy Clover hook. “How much better could a CROCHET HOOK really be” I thought tk myself naively as I hit “add to cart.” Yall. This thing might be made of actual magic. The metal of the hook is crazy smooth, it almost slipslike teflon. Yarn just glides right across it, it’s so easy. And the handle is ergonomic as HELL. Zero hand or wrist pain when I’m using it for an hour or two at a time minimum. It’s lighter weight than other brands, it works things up faster, and generally I’m just super stoked for it. I’m a cheapo and tend to want the best bargains, but these are well worth the splurge if you’re super into crochet!

I started crocheting two months ago and recently joined an online crochet group. I was asked what my favorite crochet hook was and realized that I had no idea that this was a "thing", lol. I googled "what to look for in crochet hooks" and this Clover hook was recommended by several reviewers. I just received it last night and haven't stopped crocheting since receiving it. I'm shocked at what a difference it makes in my stitch - one reviewer mentioned that this hook helps you stitch better and I didn't understand until I actually started using the hook. First of all, the hook is much lighter than the one I used previously which I didn't realize was an issue but I can crochet for longer periods before my wrist gets tired. Also, I hold the hook like a pencil (as opposed to like a screwdriver) and the grip on this hook feels natural and comfortable. i purchased a second hook when I purchased this one and plan to return it because the handle on that hook is too small for me, better suited to a child or an adult with small hands. The feature that really makes all the difference is the head of the hook. The tapered tip enables you to get into tight stitches MUCH easier than my current hook. And then the hook part catches the yarn well so that when you complete a yarn over/pull through the yarn stays on the hook. This feature combined with the great grip and light weight will have you crocheting for hours, at least it has for me. And I love that my stitches are more uniform because I'm not fighting with the stitches and no longer create loose stitches as a result, I can now get into a crocheting rhythm. I highly recommend this hook, I'm actually checking to see if this comes in a set and if not, I'll purchase it again in other sizes as I need them.

I started out with a few chrochet hooks that came with amigurumi kits and I was hesitant to purchase this because visually it looks about the same as what came with my kits and I asked myself; how could it be any different? However, I heard good things so I purchased it anyway and When I opened it I could immediately tell a difference. I didnt even know what I was missing, this handle is so much more comfortable with just a slight give to it and the metal is so smooth. The head shape is just right for going into stitches smoothly and back out without snagging. My wrists arent in pain. This is so worth the purchase for me and every day I am excited to pick up this hook.

My all time favorite line of crochet hooks! The metal is so smooth and the grip is so comfortable in my hand (I have a pencil grip). A huge game changer in my speed and tension while crocheting.

Comfortable and easy to use; however, delivery was bad. Left on top of the garbage can, nowhere close to the front door.

I learned to crochet using the regular aluminum hooks with no handles. And I have ahistory of carpal tunnel and whatnot, so that just wouldn't do. My wrists would hurt and my hands would cramp after just a short while of holding onto the thin metal hooks. I was having to grip so tightly to them as well. But these hooks you notice the difference immediately. They are exceptional quality. The matte aluminum of the hook glides thru the yarn, with no squeaks, no sticking, no catching. Perfect, like butter. They are sturdy and will not bend or break and the hooks don't twist around in the handle the way some cheaper similar looking hooks do. They help me crochet longer without any pain, crochet faster and with proper tension. Honestly you cannot get a better functioning hook, even the ones that look similar to the clover brand are not what they seem. They tend to slip and slide out of the handles and the hooks are not the same smooth, matte texture so you get squeaks and sticking. Nothing comes close to a good quality hook. Worth every penny since it's your health, and you are using the hook for hours and hours on end. Definitely worth the small investment of getting a good hook for comfort and Leveling up your skill.

Love these. I didn't believe until I tried. These really help relieve my pain from trigger thumb and tendinitis in my arms. They glide so smooth through the yarn. Worth the little extra cost

Sono scorrevolissimi, hanno l'impugnatura più comoda di sempre (io impigliato con presa a penna) e la qualità è evidente appena si guardano, il numeromnon è scritto ad inchiostro ma impresso nella gomma dell'impugnatura, quindi non rischia di cancellarsi con l'utilizzo. Sono anche allegri e colorati, il che non guasta.

uncinetto 5.0 favoloso. comodo e non scivola via come invece accade con altri più economici.
