The cover says All About Coffee, but inside is a Belgium cookbook. Wtf?

Not leisure reading material.
I was expecting a condensed history of coffee, but this book is like an encyclopedia! Don't get this book if you want something to read while waiting. Also, I recommend heading over to Project Gutenberg to get the whole book with all the diagrams and tables properly formatted if you are interest in this book as an historical resource.

More than you ever wanted to know.
Much of this book contains dated information, two years post WWI, however there is a fascinating wealth of botanical and historical information about the spread of coffee agriculture from Africa to the rest of the world, and the political and social implications of the rise of the coffee house in Europe and the United States. It is remarkably detailed, and I enjoyed it very much.

The title said 'All About Coffee', but the inside pages were a totally different book!

More than you ever wanted to know about coffee
This has got to be one of the ultimate resources on the Coffee-Human Connection. While some of the information is dated and overly scholarly it traces the history of coffee, the art and literature of coffee and the science of this most popular beverage. The coffee industry has grown and changed since 1922, but as a comprehensive historical resource from that time is is valuable.
