Awesome storyline!
Loved all the characters, glad there weren't too many to mix up names. A real page turner, I can't wait to get the next book! Would definitely recommend!

ā„ļøš¼š„MORAL: DONāT LET YOUR BESTIE PACK YOUR BAGSā„ļøš¼š„
I enjoyed this book so much...It was fun, hot and entertaining....THE DARE was based on a good premise, and one I donāt think Iāve ever read before....Plus, Lauren Landish gave us some really funny moments...one of my favorites takes place with Colton and Elle in airport security.....I couldnāt not mention it.....it deserves to be singled out...And I promise it will make you laugh too...ā„ļøš¼š„Colton is a wealthy, hot, ambitious, no-nonsense Brit, and heās Elleās boss at the company where, both, her father and best friend also work....Colton is all business all the time....until he meets beautiful, smart, āball bustingā, daredevil Elle, and, he immediately, becomes enchanted with Elle and her ādare gameā...ā„ļøš¼š„Elle and her best friend, Tiffany, have been playing the ādare gameā for years in an attempt to take risks and stand outside of their comfort zones, and, truthfully, these two could be dangerous if left alone too long...They are thrill seeking, adrenaline junkies, and it was a dare during which Elle met Colton...in his office...beside the copier...it was priceless.....ā„ļøš¼š„All through the book, the dare game had first Elle and Tiffany and then Elle and Colton daring each other to do what they really wanted the other person to do...without, actually, asking the person to do it...Got it?? ā„ļøš¼š„So, Colton decides to transfer Elle to the position of his assistant while he works on a career and life changing project which will yield a potential promotion ...two reasons..(1)Elleās dad is Coltonās only competition in this promotion, and, hopefully, knowing Elle works for his competition, will throw her dad off his game and (2)Colton likes Elle, and she intrigues him....Heās, obviously, hot for her and no one believes heās going to let her go when the project is complete...ā„ļøš¼š„I really liked this book....the characters are strong, their chemistry is strong, and I loved their story...Plus, the peripheral characters, specifically, Frank and Tiffany are interesting enough I want their story...and, yes I like the idea of them in the same story...so many problems to overcome....I hope Lauren Landish writes their story next....ā„ļøš¼š„

A fun little office romance that starts well, but then drags along a bit
The best part of the story is the first quarter to one third of the book, where the fun, playfulness and sensual buildup is at its greatest.Once the relationship between the the two protagonists is pretty much defined, however, the story becomes quite predictable and, in my opinion, rather average. It's still somewhat entertaining, mind you, if you enjoy the typical love stories with family and work-related obstacles thrown in along with a bit of sensuality. But the uniqueness of the beginning is lost. Also, when the hero's family background comes to light, it all just seems a little too much like the same romance story we've heard time and again. Here is my detailed review:Heroine: 5 starsHero: 4 starsPlot: 3 starsWriting style: 5 starsHumor: 3 starsAction: 0 starsSuspense: 2 starsRomance: 5 starsSensuality: 3 starsEnding: HEA.Would I read another book by this author? Not sure.

so good!! so fun!! just great!!
I didnāt know what to expect, as I read this pair of books in the wrong order (yeah, The Truth is listed as stand-alone, but it is totally related to Tye Dare!)I really like Elle. She is smart, sassy, bold and she & her bestie, Tiffany, are just crazy, ying & yang, always with the daresā¦which is super important to this overall story. Colton is so intriguing. Love the whole British hot businessman (while giving a whole new meaning to BBC - youāll have to read this to find out what!).I enjoyed the HQ2 competition between Colton & Elleās dad, Daniel. And the hotness level is off the charts! One other thing that just cracked me up was the use throughout of the animal-related American sayings that make sense to us in the U.S. of A., but certainly confound those from across the pond! āHungry as a horseā ? Ha!

Makes a winner!
What a brilliant and funny read! Lauren is good at creating characters you want to see together and this is no exception. What started a date between friends ends with a true love story that has you clapping at the end! Elle and Tiff are best friends who dare each other daily. The latest dare involves one of the executives, Colton Wolfe at their job but ends in a fairy tale of love, laughter and a little bit of chaos. A great read from start to finish

Great ending
I struggled with this book.... I couldn't warm to the best friend character. To me she spoiled it. However I love Colt and Elle and the craziness of their relationship. I definitely finished this book with a smile on my face.

Fun Romcom
A light hearted laugh out loud comedy romance to curl up with on a Sunday afternoon. However, the attempt at the English speech, phrasing and idioms was inaccurate/a bit dodgy and lost a star from me. Otherwise an entertaining read.

Hot, Sexy, Feel Good Book.
I loved this book, I especially enjoyed the build up of the relationship between Colton and Elle, I laughed, crieda little and felt a bit hot and bothered during some scenes, also being from England it was nice to have a book that was based in the UK as well as the USA, if you enjoy slightly broody men and feisty women this book is for you, I'd recommend it to anyone.
