8 inch Chef Knife

This Wacoset 8” chef knife is a good solid knife. I’ve had plenty of knives around my kitchen over the years and this one stands out from the others. It’s top of the line for the money. Solid, sharp, durable, and just the right weight and balance. I usually just pick out a decent knife at a local store and hope for the best.This time I thought I would get one online and this Wacoset looked great in the ads, so I purchased it. Glad I did, too.I’m in the kitchen and around the BBQ pit as an avid foodie so this knife is already getting a workout after only having it a short while. It seems to be holding an edge quite well. I could have paid much more for a knife but at this price range I couldn’t have made a better choice. I highly recommend it.

The knifes finish wears off when you try to sharpen the edge. Once that finish is gone it doesn't hold an edge.

I picked this Wacoset 8" Chef Knife out of field of what seemed like a thousand knifes on Amazon and fortunately I'm completely satisfied with the results. This is a great knife at any price. Solid, heavy and well balanced. And a good looking knife to boot. This knife is more than I had expected.Randy

This chef knife is truly impressive. The first thing that comes to mind after using it is that it feels more expensive than the price I paid for it. It’s sharp, of course, but also heavy so it fits the hand well. Nothing cheap here. I’ve cut up everything you could think of including meat, bone, hard skinned vegetables like winter squash…works like a champ. Holds an edge well. The sleek design is an added bonus. A great buy.Michael
