This ball is indestructible. I have a patrol German shepherd who is crazy for this ball. So far, it has held up extremely well. I've purchased at least three of these toys, not because the ball has been damaged, but because she likes it so much. I have had to purchase replacement ropes, but that's only because my K9 likes to chew the ropes off it I allow her to play with it for too long. That being said, this is not meant to be a chew toy. It's meant to be a reward for good behavior when dog training. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is a police canine handler or trainer.

I bought two of these for work. I am a police k9 officer, and these are awesome. Small enuff to make it easy to hide from the dog, yet large enuff so he doesn't swallow. Also, love how the knots are coated in rubber so they don't Frey or come untied. AWESOME PRODUCT!!!!!! IT IS police K9 tested and approved.

I have a hybrid MalinoisXGSD dog and this is by far her favorite toy. I started with this at about 6 months of age and she looks forward to her daily playtime. It is durable, I play some tug of war with it and is holding up really well to her teeth. The string is coated at the ends (it just started to peel but very slightly). She can pull on the ball and the string has handled a lot of that. You can throw this thing over 100 feet out due to the nice balanced weight of the ball. Note: I do not let her keep the toy to chew/bite on at her leisure. It comes out only when it's time to play. It helps to reinforce training commands and by doing so, she gets to fetch and pull on it as her reward. She's a year now and I'm sure I'll easily get another 6 months of daily use. Again, I have a hard-biting, sharp toothed large breed dog and this product is holding up to what it was intended for.

My mal and i tried k9 ops today. You definitely get what you pay for this ball has bounce. They run a little small keep that in mind, i got the smaller of the two for my 6 month belgian malinois he loves it. Hard material you can wash and it still looks new not chewed up. Im yet to see any teeth marks. You wNt this ball

I like the product, but it runs SMALL. I got the med/large ball expecting a "normal" sized ball, but the ball is smaller than I'd like for my 5mo old GSD. I figured the med/large would be suitable for large breed dogs, but it's more so suitable for a mini aussie/corgi/standard schnauzer type dog. If you have a GSD sized dog, go for XL

My only assumption can be that this arrived after having already been used. The encasement that the ball should have arrived in was in multiple pieces as shown in my photo (with the ball loose in the shipment bag). Toy itself looks to be good quality on first glance, just disappointed as I would have expected more professionalism.

Ball is Strong enough for working line German Shepherds. Only thing to improve would be string strength, string tends to be chewed off within a month
