KontrolFreek Precision Rings | Aim Assist Motion Control for PlayStation 4 (PS4), PS5, Xbox One, XBX, Switch Pro & Scuf Controller (Black/Purple)

So I have waited a few months to write review. The black ring's tension are too high for me personally and cause my hands to fatigue and cramp. The purple rings are perfect with no discomfort and will fine tune your aim. You will probably have to go into settings and adjust aim sensitivity.. Durability does not seem to be an issue. Note that these are difficult if not pointless to use with the joystick extensions that come with a Scuf Vantage 2, like i said it is doable if you stack both tensioner rings on only 1 joystick but will bind and can cause aim drift if you remove your thumb. Durability is outstanding so far and no signs of wear I play FPS 3-4hrs a day and up to 8hrs on my days off, which is why I waited to write this review, again this is only using a Suf Vantage 2 but I'm sure same should go for all controllers. Great product and I do plan on getting another backup set

After owning this product for 6 months, one of the rings I put on 1st finally ripped. When Appling the 2nd one (the purple one) it ripped automatically. I've read on some reviews that you need the thumb stick extensions for the rings to work, no... You don't. I'm not a novice, but I am far from a pro and these rings helped my gaming a LOT without the extentions. Go on, buy the extensions & the rings together if you want, but honestly you may not need the extensions.

pretty good and helped my aim, thoght it was streachy at first though and ripped one if the purple ones in half but thats on me lol

They definitely increase force needed to move joysticks. Probably a little too much which is why I quit using. In my experience It kept getting harder when the stick stayed down a little bit after pushing it to melee etc so you’d have to pick stick back up and reset over and over. Not for me and seems overpriced for what it is.

Useless, doesn’t hardly add actual tension. Not worth it

I have to give these control rings 5 stars, they worked exactly as they were supposed to, and as advertised! The only downside was, they did not work for my kind of gaming. They limited the the movement of the sticks, and slowed down my response time. I play Apex Legends, and it is response time that counts. I can't say that these got me killed, because I am awful anyway. Sometimes I feel like I am painted neon orange, with a sign saying "Shoot ME!" over my head. Enough of this. This might work for another type of game. These might even work for another type gamer. Overall I can say these did work. Just not for me.

I'm an older gamer (over 60, we'll leave it at that) and bought these to help with my controller games on a pc gaming rig. It really does help eliminate/reduce the slop in the movement. I have 2 motorcycle games , MotoGP 18 and TT Isle of Man. They made a huge difference in my precise control on turns, cut my wrecks down by 80%+. Also, it helped on a few lower end FPS games (when I'm not on M/KB). Yes, they are a bit expensive for what they are but, with my previous engineering skills I still couldn't make any DIY ones that worked. I've only used the purple set which was perfect for me. Gaming is expensive, but these were worth it.

After buying and loving the KontrolFreek thumbsticks, I noticed with the taller stick it definitely felt a bit more loose due to the larger lever. I saw this product and thought it would help bring the resistance back to a more normal level. I took the ring off after about 10 minutes. These rings have two issues. The first is that they are far too stiff, even the less firm of the two. It makes moving the joystick a workout. You'll find it hard to get to the edges of your range of motion. I found it very difficult to just hit that edge even with the taller thumbgrip on. The second issue is consistency. Because it's a little sponge, the resistance increases as it compresses, meaning that your new resistance will be less at the center of your range of motion, and it will increase as you move towards the edges. I don't recommend these rings unless you want to give your thumbs a workout.

definetly help with precision these paired with the analog extentions make ur aim on point 👌 i play warzone had 1.12kd got these and my kd is at 1.8 😂 would definetly recommend

Just super expensive foam rings. The package would cost more to produce than the ring. That and they don't work well anyway. Avoid

they are okay if youre just gonna camp with a sniper the whole match and thats the only good use for it, you cant look around at all its so slow to do so and i would really not use these. It just feels like your sensitivity has been slowed down which is good for sniping but you really cant look around man. And i am being nice here.

Got it within 2 days. It does the job well.
