Krell 200 Watt Vanguard Integrated Stereo Amplifier

This amplifier exceeded expectations in its ability to resolve minute details, spacial imaging in width and 3D like definition. My Sonus Faber Olympica II's, have never sounded so good!!! Musical in every way... Another veil has been lifted to reveal even more from my music collection!!! The resolution and power this amplifier has truly is unique for Krell and this new generation of amps really are something special. I had a class D amp before and this amp represents much of what I enjoyed about its sound but this seems even more neutral and revealing.The home theater pass through to my Denon AVR 4311CI for surround leveraging my Krell for front left and right has totally transformed the home theater surround. Bass is so well controlled managed and powerful I have removed the subwoofer and DSpeaker Antimode 2.0 Room Correction. It will e-mail you any errors or overheating warnings and sends info and logs to Krell.The remote is very nice and solid, not plastic!!!The UI on this unit is less than desirable but functional there is a web page control for your smartphone and tablet.... It's not an app but functional. It integrated to our Harmony One remote so that limits interaction with the UIThe speaker connectors are very high end using some of the latest gold tech to date.The unit is reasonably small and easy to fit on any shelf but is very heavy but for a unit that has this clean an neutral a sound with 400 watts at 4ohms very worth it. It's similar in sound to a Devialet amp IMO without the SAM and is raw class A power and clarity without the compromises of tubes Being solid state it doesn't sound sterile shrill or edgy. It provides a very enjoyable sound at low volumes or will provide unimaginable volume levels with clarity that will leave you stunned and neighbor bring over beverages!!The unit is compact and runs incredibly cool... My speakers are 4 Ohm so it really drives them well... My sources are a PS Audio DirectStream DAC, Oppo BDP 105D, VPI Scout Classic SE Ortofon 2M Black, Jolida JD9II Phono Stage Siemens 1960 Triple Mica NOS tubes, Morrow Audio PH6, MA4 Interconnects and SP4 Speaker Cables, PS Audio AC12 Power Cables and Dactet Conditioning

I have to admit it’s a superb piece of equipment: delivers music musically and effortlessly. Completely dissappears.
