ZX5 Bow Camera Mount Compatible with GoPro

Sturdy and has held up after years of abuse.

Great product or hot so many good videos with it. Also got a video of my first Bow kill awesome product would highly recommend.

This mount design looks great on paper, but not necessarily as practical in real life. I'm sitting here posting this review from my tree stand on opening day of bow season and am lucky that I was able to get this mount working for my bow setup.At first, the mount and GoPro would not fit on my setup as pictured in the product image because my quivered arrows were in the way. I then tried flipping the mount to the left hand side, but this left almost no room for my hand to grasp the bow. The left hand side also felt out of place as I wouldn't be able to turn the GoPro on and trigger the video with my right hand without reaching across the entire bow.After a few minutes of stewing, thinking I would have to return this mount, I went digging through my bow case remembering that I had a set of quiver standoffs at one point in time. I dug them up and got them mounted, adding approximately 1" of offset to my quiver. I flipped the GoPro mount back to the right hand side and boy was I lucky...it fit with virtually no room to spare. As you can see from my photo, I am running my GoPro in a rugged aluminum housing (for better audio pick-up) as opposed to the standard GoPro waterproof housing. The aluminum housing projects to the right about a 1/4" further than the standard housing, but even that housing would not have fit without the quiver standoffs installed as well.Another point to take note of is that even though I was able to get everything mounted okay, it's still pretty tight in terms of hand placement. It's fairly warm here at the moment and I only have very light gloves on, but if you have really large hands or thick cold weather gloves on, it's going to be tight! Also, if you tend to shoot with a loose or open grip (which everyone should), your fingers will likely block the lense or at a minimum, end up in the shot. Which brings me to my last point...If you're shooting your GoPro in 1080+ wide-mode, you're going to capture EVERYTHING in your footage; arrow, stabilizer, fingers, and maybe even part of your sight depending on model length. This can certainly add a kind of cool factor to the video, as long as that's the result you're looking for. Happy hunting!

Works great. Didn't move after several shots and I really like the positioning of it along with the fact that you can screw a stabilizer into it. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was actually putting it on my bow. With the threading it was tough to get the screw in as well as get it solid. But, with some time, its not that big of an issue.

Works as advertised. Makes those moments you want to save easy to do.

Mounted on my compound Mathews bow with a GoPro 9 black and even with the stabilization on the camera there was still a lot of movement in the video.

Good item. Fights well on my bow. Only bad thing is that my strap gets it the way of the bowfinger. Other than that this is a really good product and I would highly recommend it if you want to capture your Hunts on film
