Looking at the other reviews here it seems most of them are from people that received this cable either free or at a discount in exchange for a review. I did NOT get this free, or at a discount and I must say that their customer service is ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! In this day and age of so many companies not giving a damn about their customers, this company really does. I bought this cable to use in my vehicle. I wanted a flat cable so that I could run it from the cigarette lighter plug up along the crease in the dash and up to the suction cup bracket on my windshield in the lower corner of the drivers side without having to gaff tape it or secure it somehow. It worked perfectly for about 2 and a half months. Then I had a very bizarre issue occur. When charging my Galaxy Note 5 as soon as the charge would get to 60% (sometimes 59%) disconnect & then reconnect the connection every few seconds until I physically unplugged it. If I plugged it back in it would continue to do the same. This only happened at 59 or 60% charge and only with this cable, but under 59% or over 60% it worked perfectly fine. In the house it would charge perfectly fine with different cables. I tried three different cigarette lighter adapters thinking that might be the problem, but it was not. I emailed the company and told them what was happening and asked them if they had ever heard of anything like this before. They IMMEDIATELY responded to me and said they would send out a new cable right away. I didn't even ask for a replacement, but they immediately offered one. I replied and thanked them, and they then went a step further and asked what kind of charger I was using. I told them I tried 3 different ones & none worked. They came back and said they would include one of their car adapters in my package. I was floored by their quick responses and their helpfulness. Many other companies could learn lessons from these guys. I have had my new cable & charger for over a week now and so far so good.....it is working perfectly again. If anything changes I will update this review, but I am sure it was just a bizarre fluke thing that happened.

Promising, but ultimately failed. I use my phone for my alarm clock, so assuring that my phone (Samsung Note 4) is charging overnight is essential. Yesterday my phone went dead while plugged in with this wire overnight. I was lucky that I woke up around the time I was supposed to. To my dismay, the wire was properly plugged in at both ends. I gently adjusted the wire and the charging indicator on my phone went on.I'm unable to determine where exactly the fault in the wire is, but I suspect it's in the neck of the micro USB. I've tested 3 different charging "bricks" (all 2 amp 5v USB power adapters) all with the same reproducibility which indicates a fault in the cable.I've only had this wire a short time and only use it at home for overnight charging.Hopefully you guys are luckier than me. Looks like I'll need to start looking for a new cable.

I got this micro usb cord to work with a surge protector with built-in USB charging outlet. I have been using the cord for a few weeks and work great. Charges fast on Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. The design has slimmer housing for the contact so just need to make sure that the pins are inserted to the outlet on the correct side and that metal touches metal. Instructions were emailed to me as soon as you received my order. The first two cords that was sent to me failed after 3 weeks but I contacted customer service who was super responsive. They shipped me replacements right away and they have worked great since (now about 3 weeks later). I think the first set was a bad batch. I would be from Crabby Digital again.

Bought this to replace the stock charging cable that came with my OPO (the stock cable was poor quality and began to break apart after only a couple months of use!). This cable is so much better in terms of quality - feels so much sturdier and well put together. The charge end that plugs into the phone is solid and doesn't wiggle or move around. And the length, my goodness, this is what ALL phone charging cables should be!!Works with my 2.0A stock OPO charger and charges my phone with blazing speed. While the cost is slightly higher than other cables, you get what you pay for - a rock solid cable that does the jump and has the length to make it usable anywhere.Highly recommend it!

I'm going from 5 to 2 stars.I bought my first cable in 12 March. Up until about a week ago I started having problems. The micro part (that plugs into phone) becameloose on my phone. Charges fine, still, but the slightest move on the cable will disrupt the charging.I bought my second cord in 17 April (before I had issues with the first) and that lasted me up until21 May. The cord will sometimes charge my phone, and when it does, it doesn't recognize it as a fast charger like it used to. I try using a different cord to compare and my phone would start to charge just fine.

Very bad cables. I have 3 of them. Over time, both ends develop issues. It did not connect to the device or only connect from time. The cable was not even carry around from place to place. They are always in my home at the same location! I just plug/unplug to the phone. They are more expensive but they are not better in term of quality. Don't buy them.

Cable started out great for the first few months but then it just stopped working. I tried to contact customer support a few times to get the cable replaced under the lifetime guarantee but never heard back from them...Very disappointed...

I think it is a very nice and useful item. Unfortunately, I did not read that it was not appropriate for an iPhone. Therefore, it was not so useful to me. I am sure that I will find a use for it in the future.
