very intuitive and easy for a first timer to use
Works very well, very intuitive and easy for a first timer to use.My first time installing hardwood floor and needed to undercut the brick fireplace hearth. This tool works great, and dust collection was surprisingly effective. However, if you are cutting brick with this, I highly recommend a spare masonry blade. The first one didn't last the entire job. I had 10 linear feet to cut, the blade lasted the entire lower cut length, and about 7' of the 1/2" high cut, then disintegrated. Admittedly I may have been impatiently pushing too hard. Having to wait days to get another blade is not worth the additional cost of a spare.If you buy this saw, you'll be happy. If you're cutting brick, and you invest in a spare blade, you'll be thrilled.

Could be even better
This is a great saw. The one thing that could be improved by the manufacturer is, the way it fits into the case. It crimps the cord near where it attaches the the saw. Over time it will damage it.

super saw
I purchased this saw to undercut a couple of door jambs and 38'of masonry before laying a laminate floor. The saw made quick and accurate work for the pre-floor preparation.I would highly recommend this product!

Great saw!
I've been installing flooring for over 26 years.Dont go cheap they are not worth it. A lot of horizontal saws are dangerous.
