LEGO DUPLO 4624 Brick Box

My son got this for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! I love that the blocks don't fill it completely so I have room to add some of his other duplo blocks that didn't come with boxes right in with these, saving this mama some space. The blocks are beautiful colors, my son loves building a "house" for his cat and dog and like all Lego products there are a myriad of things that can be done with the bricks and the price was right for a single mom looking for a quality gift. I highly recommend this to anyone with a toddler who loves to build and play.

Lego quality is excellent but I expected the container to be larger. The variety and number of blocks is probably appropriate for a two year old but my 3 year old granddaughter is bored with the set, I think.

It is a nice set ad my grandson enjoys it, but there are very few pieces for the size of the box.

I played endlessly with legos when I was a little girl. I could never have enough of them. My 20 month old took to them right away. He really thinks about the way the individual pieces work together and enjoys sorting the different colors and shapes. The box is even a big plus because one of his favorite things is to pull out and organize his toys in baskets and boxes. It's also a great size for travel. I only had to bring this one box on a five day trip to Lake Tahoe. There are so many different variations he can do and I love how they give great ideas for building on the box and in the manual. I don't often write reviews but Lego is and always will be a great company with excellent products that are made well throughout the years. I feel satisfied that these are a purchase we can build upon for many years to come.In contrast the Mega blocks don't hold a candle to keeping his imagination going. They feel cheap and often are faded and can show wear and tear easily. The blocks do not hold together as well.

This is a great starter set (why we got it) or addition to any toddler lego set.Bought this about a year ago, daughter was almost one and picked this one bc it came with a cat (which she pointed out immediately), also comes with dog and other little extras.Now, she can actually put the pieces together by herself, so its great for all ages of toddlers. (at first she would just try to put the animals on one block, so it has grown with her)

Nice lego set for my kids. Price was OK. A nice box for storing the Legos as well. I guess it could have had a few more pieces.

I bought my son these duplo blocks because everyone was praising them as the next big thing in building toys. First of all they are expensive for what you get. You get a handful of blocks and some accessories. It kept my sons attention for about 15 minutes and then he never played with them again.Maybe if you get another set to go with this one, it would be worth it in the long run? For a three year old however, I just don't see the justification in paying $25.00 for a handful of boring blocks.

You can't go wrong with duplos. I love watching my 4-year-old and 1 1/2-year old play side by side with these. They are timeless toys and nothing holds my children's attention like legos. I particularly like this set which has a good variety of pieces. The box is the ideal for storage. They kids can clean up and store them away all on their own.
