iPhone 6/6s Defender Series

This is a great defender case with the otterbox quality I continue to expect. I was a bit worried that this would have some fit issues (as one otterbox for a newer phone had before), but there are not kinks to work out with this one. This case fit our iphone 6s's perfect on the first try. There are no issues with gapping between the screen protector and the iphone, and there is no issue with the rubber outer shell being loose or ill-fitting. Of course, if you need a very slim profile you need to go with a commuter series or something less than the defender, but this is not THAT bulky and I enjoy feeling like I am extra protected. If you are giving the phone to a kid, if your kid likes to play with your phone, or you are just clumsy yourself, I highly recommend using the defender series of otterbox cases. This is the version that has the inside portion that totally encases your phone (with screen protection) and then you have the rubberized outer shell that gives you a nice grip and shock absorption if you drop the phone. I would not go dropping this thing on purpose, but I have never had an issue with a broken phone while using an otterbox defender and I do tend to drop my phone a lot. I have no issues with getting to all my components/jacks and I have no issues with hearing my caller or hearing my speakers when I play a video. This is not a waterproof case. You can probably splash some water and be fine, but this is not the version that you can actually, safely, immerse in water. If you want to take this in the bathtub with you though, it is protected enough that you can place the encased phone inside of a ziplock bag and use it in the bath. Do not immerse it in the water, but you can touch it with wet hands and you will not ruin your phone, nor will you have issues with the touch screen. Oh yeah.....this is a cute color too!

Cases matter when it comes to protecting your cell phone. This is an investment to some and it may not matter to some. If you feel you don’t want to shell out megabucks for another cell phone, a good case can aid in that. It needs to be sturdy, have a great grip, you like the color or combinations. It doesn’t interfere with button usage and protects your investment. This matters and it does so at a price that isn’t bad. Depending on your viewpoint, the case you buy better do the job and not make you regret it. If this is you, this is the best case for this phone.

I ordered this case from Amazon the day before I purchased a new iPhone 6S, and was pleasantly surprised at how much lighter & slimmer it is than the Defender case I used on my old iPhone 4S. The clip-on hard plastic holster also seems a little tougher than the previous version; the old one had to be replaced several times because the clip snagged something & cracked off, while the current holster has snagged a few times (mainly in the seat belt when I exit my car) and the worst that's happened was it popped off my belt once without any damage. The phone case itself is easy to hold and provides very good protection from falls & scratches. The rubber tabs that cover the docking port , earphone jack, and mute/vibrate switch do an excellent job of staying closed without being overly difficult to open; I'm especially happy that the earphone jack cover lines up properly (it did NOT on the 4S case), while the cover for the docking port doesn't seem to be trying to force the power/synch cable out of the port (another problem with the older 4S version of the Defender). The only complaint I have is that the bevel around the screen can get in the way when playing some games or when trying to drag app icons between screens if my finger's not at the right angle -- but it's such a minor problem that I'm not subtracting any stars because of it. This case also doesn't add as much weight or bulk to the 6S as its predecessor did to the 4S -- all in all, I'm a happy camper with this one!

The best protection

If it wasn’t for my brother, I would have never found out about this awesome Otterbox case. When I first got my phone, I wasn’t even thinking about what case to use, but my brother knew exactly what to get. Thank God that my brother loves and knows so much about technology. He’s the technician of our house: from putting together TVs to phones. When something happens to our internet or phone, we immediately think that he will be able to fix it, which he does. Okay, enough about him but he’s the reason why I have this case, so I’m very thankful. From my experience for 3 years, I would say that there is no other phone case like Otterbox. Otterbox is an incredible phone case because of the price and durability. This Otterbox defender phone case cost nineteen dollars and ninety-five cents with the shipping of four dollars and forty-eight cents. When my brother first told me the price of this case, I thought it was a little pricey. I used to think about why it was this expensive for this thick and not very good-looking case. I threw away all those thoughts and told myself that it’s just a case and it doesn’t need to look good to protect my phone. After using this case for a while, I started to like it, even the color and design of it. It didn’t take me long to change my mind about the price. Now that I've used it for three years plus, the price is awesome for this amazing quality phone case. Most importantly, the durability of this phone case is incredible. I’m not a person who drops phone a lot, but it has saved my phone from many drops. If it wasn’t for this phone case, I wouldn’t have a phone by now. After three years, it still looks good enough to use it for another year. I recommend this phone case to everyone, especially for people who drops their phone a lot. The thickness of the cover might throw some people off because I've seen a lot of people with thin and not protecting cases, but other than that it’s awesome (I don’t know why people choose those cases over a protecting one. Isn’t case purpose to protect). The price, quality, and durability are just fantastic. Thanks to Otterbox that I haven’t had to buy another phone for three-plus years.

great product. there is no cheap imitation that compares. there are chinese cheap ones, but they may include screws to tighten and have glass protectors (sometimes regular glass). simply put, its just reliable and protects the phone properly. great product.

Awesome Product. Now a days maximum people holding iPhones, so we need not showcase our iPhone by neglecting Protection. This case may keep aside ur phone outlook but at the same This will gives ur phone protection Very extensive. If u r bothering of your Phone's protection this only the case which protects more than ur expectations. i bought green otter box for Rs 1389.But now its 4000 Rs I liked it but case is getting dirt since it is green color. i will give feed back after few months

Great product, and it was legit. It did come in a hassle free packaging which meant there was no original packaging. Just the item in an envelope. The defender was easy to install but not so easy to uninstall. I don't intend to switch cases once this is on so this is not a problem for me. I bought this product not because I do manual labor as a contractor, but because I have 2 kids who are not as careful of electronic devices as we are. Now I have peace of mind when they use our phone. Surprisingly they have not dropped it at all, I suspect this has something to do that they now have a better grip on the device. Another plus for Otterbox. The iPhone 6 Version of the defender is a lot better than the iPhone 5 which I have. It feels really nice in the hand and feels solid. I like the protection and the included belt clip. Definitely a must buy if you want to protect your iPhone and is serious about protection.
