Electrical Cable Trunking 3M 2M Wire Conduit Tidy Plastic Cover White Brown (40mm x 16mm x 2m (2x1m), White)

Bought this to hide hifi speaker cable past sliding patio doors. The brown matched perfectly with the wood of the door frame and was a perfect size to be attached against the wood under the sliding door. simple to install and easy to cut to length. Cable slotted in and the cover snapped back on with ease.

Adhesive backing is poor and doesnt hold too well, needs screws fixing to keep in place else ok

Right size and looks well, bought for holding 5 ethernet cables.

This trunking is ok for DIY but if you want a professional finish it leaves a lot to be desired. The tape on the rear does not always stick and hold the trunking. You will have to use some 3M tape to get it to stick properly or nail it, which defeats the object of it. I used Screwfix white for part of the job and it is like night and day. As I said it is ideal for DIY.

It's done the job OK for me, but the product isn't great quality. The plastic is quite brittle and tends to shatter as you cut it. The brown colour is nowhere near as dark as it appears in the photo. It's actually quite a pale brown, as you can see in the rather poor quality photo I've added, the contrast against my dark brown door surround colour is quite marked. Will have to paint it in due course. As with many thermoplastics, you can also see that the colour pales significantly if the material bends during cutting. Not much that can be done about that, I suppose. Just take care when cutting it!

it does what it is supposed to use one section for holding botton of a rooler blind.

Just what I needed to hide a cable to my video doorbell. The trunking comes with a self adhesive backing which worked very well in the situation I used it in.
