kamiki 29.5 "Super Extra Long Handled -Durable & Sturdy Hard Wood Shoe Horn(One year warranty)

I bought this for personal use and it fits the bill. After a couple of auto accidents I gave up lace up shoes for slip-ons. This long shoe horn works great because it keeps me from collapsing the back of my shoes when I try to slip them on. You can hang it on a hook or I just simply keep it in my umbrella holder next to the door. I had previously purchased a metal one with a spring at a local store and it pulled apart the first time I used it. This wooden one is similar to one I bought while travelling in China and it has given me good service for 6 years already so I suspect this one will last as long or longer.

I like this product because the length allows you to put on a pair of shoes without sitting down ina chair to put your shoes on. At the same time, you don't have to bend over either. You can juststand up and put your shoes on, standing up! The only thing I do not like is the fact that the wood is a littlethick at the end, but it still works fine.

i've seen these on sites that sell 'custom' type models - and yeah, they are bad-ass! - IF u wanna spend $100's on one! This seemed to be the best i saw on Amazon (taking price into consideration). since i only had a picture to go by, i hoped for the best - & GOT IT!!! 5 STARS all the way! no problems with shipping - it was here QUIK! - it's STRONG - and it WORKS EXCELLENT! i mean, how much can i write about a shoe-horn, anyway, lol! i guess what it boils down to, is save yourself some time & get this one - you'll be glad you did!

Unfortunately in less then a year used approx. once a day, the shoe horn snapped at the bottom and I was unable to glue it back together, I bought it because the wood was stronger and will keep it's shape a lot longer then plastic or metal horns. I have tried both in the past and really liked the wood version until it broke. I'm not sure I can now recommend this product at least not for long term use.. I purchased a different brand wooden shoe horn at 27.5 inches with hopes it will last a lot longer. By the way I did not abuse my Kamiki shoe horn.

A little thick at the insert end, but otherwise great. Used this during my third trimester of pregnancy to put on sneakers when bending to tie my shoes got tough!

This 29.5" shoe horn is very much as expected. The finish is similar to some everyday use wood products that I have seen in Japan. It is extra long and will be a gift to a tall relative. I especially like the slight indentation at the back of the horn that allows the horn to be removed easily from the shoe. Good design and quality for the price.

First, I must admit this shoe horn is very attractive. It's a nice natural wood, polished to a smooth sheen. However, I didn't realize how long it would be. I doubt the item would be durable over the long term based on it being so long and made of wood. And honestly, it's too long to be used by any normal person in my opinion.

Gout gives me some hassles. One, it's hard to fit my feet in shoes. Two, it's hard to bend my knees to force my feet into shoes. This very handsome tool fixes both problems. It is long enough that I can use it without bending my knees very far. It is solid and does not feel like it might break with continued use. And, dangit, it just looks good.
