Perma Guard 704092 diatomaceous Earth, 2 lb, Brown/A

After several failed attempts to kill bulb mites using other methods, I used this as a soil drench to kill them. The other methods just knocked their numbers back but I am positive the DE did the job. I haven’t seen any mites moving in the soil but I will continue to check. (At the least it will kill the larvae and the adults will die over time.) I added a couple cups to my pots (more if you have large pots) and watered thoroughly. I did this twice, 4 days apart. I will continue to add more DE with waterings because some gets washed out.

It's not as good as what they ship in the 50lb bag. This one is kind of a tan color and not pure white like what's in the 50lb bag. This one is also gritty with black gritty sediment. This never happened when I was using this same brand but from a 50lb bag. That product was pure white and had no sediment at all. It was never gritty.

I got this food grade shell flour for my peach tree. So far so good .Dont see any insects devouring them.

I take 2 tablespoons every day. Perma-guard is great quality!
