Reusable Sticky Scratch Deterrent and Surface Protector

3 stars because I wish it was truly translucent. You can definitely see it’s there. It does protect against scratches as advertised. I’d rather have it on the door than have to keep repainting so I do recommend. Just wish it wasn’t so noticeable.

Not crazy about these. Didn't stop my cat from scratching. My cat is quite persistent, though.

I have been searching for a way to stop my cat from scratching at the door every morning waking me up. We’ve tried the sticky tapes and plastic scratch covers with no success. The sticky tape loses its stickiness in a few days (due to my cat constantly pawing at it) and I can still hear my cat scratching on the plastic covers which protects the door but still wakes me up. These pads have been on my door for about a week now and it’s been great. I wipe it down with some warm water now and then and the hair and dust stuck on it comes right off and it becomes sticky again. The only con is that when removing it, you have to pull with even pressure or it rips. But it didn’t leave a residue or anything.

I loved this idea and it was super easy to apply. But as soon as I left, it was shredded by my little 20 lb dog. I came back and it was just a huge sticky lump on the floor that I could barely open the door. This was a fail for us.

My cats love to pick at baseboard molding and banisters. Other products I tried either left residue on the walls, stripped off paint, or got my cats stuck until I released them!Gelpawse works like a charm. Using two packs, I was able to cut sheets and place throughout my house in problem areas and after a week, the cats no longer scratch at wood. Much cheaper and less time consuming than repainting/repairing the damage. The sheets removed cleanly leaving no marks or residue.One thing to note, the sheets did not stick to my microfiber couch. Not a big deal since it's not a primary target for the cats.All in all, great product that solves a long-time pain point in my life. Highly recommend!

My dad told me that if I didn't get the dog to stop scratching the couch that he was going to take it to the pound! I searched for something to work and the dog on the package looked just like my CHARLIE!It comes in a big sheet that covers the parts where they scratch the most. It doesn't make the couch look different and that was the biggest problem for my family. I was so happy when I saw that my dad had decided that I did a good job and he even got me a new collar for Charlie as an apology.

This item really stinks. It clearly states in the directions to peel the clear side and stick to the area. Well, this has 2 clear sides and neither side sticks well to the wall or the door frame. As soon as the dog scratched at it the whole thing came off. So not sure how well this would work as a deterrent. It also came folded up in sections (as seen in picture). Not worth the money
