Brooks Women's Addiction Walker 2 Walking Shoe

Brooks women’s Addiction. Walker 2 are great shoes. I do a lot of walking and my feet love these shoes. The shoes are very comfortable, great support and my feet feel great at the end of the day.

I love the Brooks Adiction walking shoes because they help keep my feet alined because I pronate. They give me such great support and cuts down on my leg cramps. I’ve been wearing this brand/ style for over 10 years and so worth it. They are so comfortable and great cushion ing.

This Brooks addiction Walker is my 5th purchase. I first purchased when I had a hip & glute injury. Past purchases were the Velcro straps but purchased the tie this time. The toe box is perfect on this pair but, like others have complained, the toe box can be too narrow. They are not a shoe for looks & only come in white, black, and grey(ish). They are pricey but anyone who has hip or knee issues will get the support they need

I had to order these twice. My first order came in a brown box because the original box was damaged. Fine - no big deal I suppose. When I opened the box, the shoes I received were used and dirty. They had hair on the inside and dirt marks on the outside. I was super upset because these shoes are NOT cheap. I paid $130 for a pair of new shoes, just to receive a disgusting used pair that were obviously returned by someone else. I immediately returned them and once the refund went into my amazon account I ordered another pair hoping my next experience would be better. They came in today, and thank goodness they are pristine. They are comfortable and offer a good amount of support. I am usually a size 5, but after researching the sizing I purchased a 6.5 wide. The fit is perfect. They are super comfy and leave enough room to wear thicker compression socks. Although, they still felt comfortable in my regular socks as well. I only took off a star due to my first experience. For this price, I would expect better quality control.

I really like these shoes. I recently had a knee replacement and I ordered them to start my physical therapy and I returned to the gym when I finished therapy and they have been great for walking. I walk a mile and do a mile on the bicycle right now. Love them. good fit , look good.

Perfect for walking. I walk 4 miles a day in comfort! Just wish they came in something other than leather, but they are the only ones that are comfy,

Two times when I have bought these shoes on Amazon, the front bit separates from the shoe. This hasn't happened when I have bought them from the local running store.

To say I am disappointed with these expensive "walking" shoes for a senior is an understatement. Background: A very fit nurse (who walks and hikes and works on her feet all day) recommended this brand to me. This is the only brand she buys. These shoes are good because of the leather upper. They look nice and they fit exactly according to size (the only reason I am giving them 2 stars). I walk 4 1/2 miles PER DAY, 6 days per week, even though I am almost 66 years old. I bought these shoes because I live in Colorado and where I walk is gravely and obviously we also get snow and rain. I have been wearing Sketchers for the last year. They have a hole in the toe already from so much walking, just so you understand where I am coming from and how to compare. Today, I walked 4.5 miles in these shoes. First, they roll on gravel. Second, my hip and back HURT from walking, which is not typical, even though I have back problems (full disclosure on that). But I mean to tell you that i was exhausted after 2 miles walking in these shoes but I trekked on because I am determined to walk my 4.5 miles a day. My feet actually got tingly in them. I never had this problem before. I slipped on the gravel. I felt like I was in a 100 mile trudge. Frankly, they were terrible and my Sketchers never made me feel any of these things. With those, it is like walking on air. I have spring in my step with them. These have little cushion, so no spring. They are warm. They have terrible traction. The fit is great. They are comfortable but definitely not cushy. Arch support is just OK. I am so disappointed. I invested in these for my health. At this point I have to keep them because I walked 4.5 miles in them today. I will probably have them for the next 10 years and wear them 2 times a year or so with jeans or something. If you are an "old" like me.....look for cheaper but better shoes.

Ever since a sports store recommended a Brooks walker to help me recover from a torn knee cartilage 20 years ago I've been sold on this shoe. Not only did I recover without surgery - and the shoe has to get some credit for that - but I now walk with much greater ease than previously. This latest pair are the best yet providing comfort and stability which gives me much more confidence in negotiating uneven surfaces. And I love the sexy white look! Vanity is not to be underestimated. Expensive but the quality is absolutely worth it.

My podiatrist recommended them to me because in my job i walk about 8/9 mles every day. They are so comfortable

i have problems with my feet if i don't wear the right shoes for me. i will be in agony for a day or two. first day i wore the shoes no pain whatsoever. it really support my feet and i couldn't believe how good they were.
