All arrived healthy despite all odds against that happening.
I ordered these and Amazon said a delivery window for 2-3 weeks was the expected delivery date. To my surprise, they shipped a couple days later, on a Friday night, via USPS, before a giant snowstorm crossed the USA. So these little guys spent a week in who knows where. USPS was wildly late due to the weather, and I totally expected a box of little dead bodies. Instead, they all arrived happy, healthy and active. It was one shrimp short, but that one could have simply been the sacrificial lamb to keep everyone fed for a week. Even the plant included with the shrimp was doing well. After acclimating them via drip for about 4 hours, they joined their fellow shrimps in my tank and have been great, with no issues. They are active, eating, and growing every day. Definitely impressive.

Imperial Tropicals are my favorite go to for Cherry Red Shrimps
Imperial Tropicals is a regular at Aquatic Experience convention and they always bring a large assortment of livestock to the conventions for sale. I've been ordering from Imperial Tropicals for RCS for years direct from their website. Happy to see they are offering some livestock here on Amazon. I have a 8 gal nano that had a black substrate and I wanted to change it out to sand for my rabbit snails. Perfect timing as I found Imperial Tropicals here and ordered 25 of the RCS with the moss balls.Imperial ships promptly and well packed and insulated. The balls and the shrimps came in separate bags. Shrimp bag had small section of plant for them to feel secure and munching during the trip. My experience is the shrimps were red as they arrived and I unpacked. Surprising since they are known to lose color during shipment and that's when most people complain about the lack of color.A couple weeks now in my tank, all shrimps are still alive, no dead shrimps, the RCS is getting along well with my gold rabbit snails. I don't see a problem with the light colored sand, the RCS are still very red. I do see more poop on the sand but that's good thing for me because it's more visual sign to siphon out and change out. In the past, dark substrates mask all the gunk that eventually settles deep into the bottom.I plan to do an update on the review once I see berries on the females. Excuse me while I go and ask Imperial to add more livestock to Amazon!

all alive and very energetic
drip-acclimated them over several hours and they are all still alive after a few days already. One actually molted too. Get them through the first molt is the key.

Perfect tiny shrimp.
The title says it all. These are tiny. They all arrived alive and have been doing very well. They settled right in to their holding tank. I was unprepared for how small these were. Make sure your filter won't suck any of the little guys and gals up. I had to get a few out that were pulled through the small vents. They were fine and unharmed but man are they small. I will order again. They are perfect.9/16/18-Today was the day that this group would come out of quarantine and move into their final home. One little problem. Several someone's had babies last night! I started with 25 and have no idea how many I have now. They are so tiny and cute!

Beautiful little fellows.
I put some in an aquarium and the remainder in the pond. They did well in both and now I have hundreds in the pond. The koi love them and they help keep the algae and sludge in better control.

Wouldn't purchase again
The media could not be loaded. Received 19 living shrimp with 3 DOA. I was refunded $9 which does not compensate for the shipping costs. Additionally, the water smelled terrible and there was a parasite shipped with them. When reaching out I was told that it was likely a scud and that I should just remove it, but from everything I can find they can invade easily since they thrive in the same conditions as shrimp so this was obviously concerning. The shrimp that we received were placed in a cycled tank that had four thriving shrimp in it for a month prior to adding the new shrimp. After four days, only 10/19 of the new shrimp are still living. Two hours was just not enough time to determine their condition. I guess I'll continue to buy from local pet stores moving forward since they offer reasonable warrantees.

Worried at first, but worries in the end!
Said they shipped 6 days before I got them, thought for sure some would be dead, sent the dealer an email with my concern and they ended up coming the next day all alive and couple moss balls. Dealer followed up with my email. All was good, very happy!
